Atwater Cocktail Club est décrit comme un speakeasy élégant et secret, avec un décor théâtral et glamour et une carte de cocktails inventifs qui impressionnent par les saveurs, la présentation et l'originalité. Le personnel est régulièrement salué pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme, même si le service peut être lent et que les files peuvent être longues aux heures d'affluence. Les prix sont parfois jugés élevés, mais l'expérience globale et le savoir-faire sont jugés à la hauteur. Dans l'ensemble, l'établissement offre une atmosphère et de la créativité qui en font une adresse incontournable pour les amateurs de cocktails.
Our first night in Montreal we were fortunate to find this hidden gem! The cocktails were original & fresh & surrounded by a cool vibe blending shiny luxe lounge seating, amazing lighting & a dinosaur skull shrine. Behind the bar we enjoyed watching the team create one cool cocktail after another. We will be back!
Hard to find but if you follow others directions you will find it. It is a speakeasy bar so it is supposed to be hard to find. Great atmosphere & cool inside. Cocktails good
We did a search for a craft cocktail bar in Montreal & ACC did not disappoint! The team is delightful, Damian the head bartender & Jack the barback were a fantastic duo on Saturday night - we got there early enough to be seated at the bar, & watched the team do its thing. The cocktails are stellar - clearly a lot of thought went in behind the concepts, & the execution left nothing to be desired. The pokemango was my absolute favorite (a milk punch with tropical fruit notes & indian spices), but the 40 Thieves presentation was lovely. La Chichera was both fruity & rich - such a delightful balance. I think my favorite thing about this bar is its lack of pretentiousness - neighborhood vibes & the best beverages. - also...Damian is obviously fantastic in his own right, but watch out for that barback Jack - he's the intern everyone wants to have. Focused, dedicated, driven.
The cocktails were fantastic. The atmosphere was really cool, was very fun to visit. It wasn't the bar's fault, but the people we sat next to were obnoxious, eavesdropping & making fun of what we were saying. We requested to move to the bar, but the bar was busy & we were told people waiting outside were already promised the next couple seats, so we just left.

Gabriel helped us during our visit. Super knowledgeable & clearly has passion for this chic speakeasy. Cocktails we tried were off the chart. Food outstanding too. Would return!
At first I really loved this place, & I thought that I would be coming back often. The atmosphere was nice, the drinks were very good, some even came with a little show, service was very good & the oysters & calamari were great. But as the night went on, I started to notice some aspects that turned me off to returning. Many of the seats are just small stools with no backs, which make it less comfortable to stay, luckily we were only to & able to both sit on one side. The music then got really loud & as of about 9:30pm, we could almost not speak & everyone was shouting to be heard all around. It also seemed that they used plastic straws (although I may be wrong) & finally this is another one of those places that removes the 15% tip option, I have no issue giving a big tip when deserved but I hate being strong armed into it. A cheap trick that left me sour at the end.
We tried a variety of food apps from the chicken liver, calamari, escargot, & fries which all tasted great. The drinks were very good too. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the non-acoholic beverage which was Honey something? I think they forgot the honey in it, it was extremely sour. I didn't mind paying for but definitely sent back a full glass when I cashed out. On another note, I would have preferred my bill split according to what I ordered instead of splitting everything that was ordered... Out of all my friends I was not actively ordering for a reason however we were also in a rush so I couldn't really correct what wasn't asked of besides 3 bills. Other than that, food & drinks were great.

Came on a Wednesday night & it was pretty full, our waitress was probably the highlight of the night! Great service! The cocktails were also very tasty, definitely their specialty. The food though... never again, inconsistency between the dishes, no taste for the beef or tuna tartare, was really disappointed in the food ..
Very cool atmosphere & amazing drinks. Went early on Sunday evening, but line was starting to grow when we left around 7pm. The smoke show had a great delivery presentation & tasted amazing. Highly recommend.
The service was excellent, the drinks were all excellent. 5 stars, would recommend! Note: Google maps may say you are there, even when you're on the wrong side of the street. Ther is an alley across the street from Atwater Cocktail Club that leads directly into someone's backyard. We found this out the hard way. They were cool about it though :) No animals were harmed in the creation of this review
