The restaurant itself is cool. Authentic Mexican with dark interior, loud music. It was crowded & seating was Very tight squeeze. The birria taco was the star of this meal, the flambe pancake was fun & very'social media' forward, but wasn't very tasty. The staff were nice but when it came to settling the bill, they took entirely too long. Overall, it's a fun, trendy spot thats great for younger crowd & we're glad we got to experience it.

Not the cheapest Mexican place around but for a reason : the quality is pretty good & you get tortillas chips with guac with your plate. Honestly I quite enjoyed my meal & the mexican culture atmosphere. Maybe the music was a little loud for my liking & the service not the most attentive, but it wasn't bad either. I'll be back.
One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been too! From the second you walk in, you feel the positive energy it has! Great music , amazing food & the staff is just so friendly! Thank you Karan for taking such great care of us! What an incredible experience!
I want to give this place 5 stars so badly because the food is truly amazing & deserves a 5 stars my only complaint is that it is a tad bit expensive even for the quality. I say this because you can find similar prices (of tacos) for an extra taco at other places & the same quality, which is a little off-putting. With that being said, there Birra tacos $25 for 3 (expensive for Montreal tacos, probably the most costly tacos ive seen $8.3 per taco) as still amazing When having in in-house, they have unbeatable flavour & the atmosphere is pretty amazing, with good vibes, good music, & good beer! Once again with that being said, I have noticed that service when walking in can be slow, not being greeted & having to wait for up to a couple minutes before having a waiter to come & seat you (even when its not busy) is a tad bit annoying but in the end, definitely a place I will come back to when my disposable income allows for it. All things considered, inflation is not slowing so it will not get cheaper & I don't take that out on the business, food is amazing, service could be a little bit better & atmosphere always suited to have a good time. Thanks Arriba, I will be back !!
Its a very festive spot for brunch. There was a DJ blasting Latino music. Its loud be warned. The food was good. I like the savory dishes over the creme brulée pancakes. The cocktails were pretty dope.
I had a nice dinner at Arriba Burrito restaurant. The food overall was good. We started with the nachos, the portion was smaller than usual but the taste was still good & the presentation with the flower on the top was cute. For the main course, I ordered the Birria, which came in a very generous portion. It was rich in flavors & spices, a little spicy but still enjoyable. My only concern was that it was a bit too oily, which made it heavy.
The ambience was fun but the music was too loud, & the sound isolation could definitely be improved. The service was good, our waiter was friendly.
It was a nice experience, but with some small improvements, it could be even better.

A nice place in the middle of Quartier Latin with music playing in the background. The walls are filled with intricate cultural designs with a lot of history. The food is super delicious whether Nachos, Fajitas, Tacos or Enchiladas 😍 My friends really like this place & the staff is super kind & social who want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Montreal😊 UPDATE: Been there many times & as always love the authentic food & atmosphere ! Definitely a 11/10 restaurant ❤?
Super good food, worth every second of the wait!! The staff is amazing & super sweet, they're all very friendly & helpful! The music is so amazing, truly adds to the atmosphere of it all!! Highly recommend making a reservation beforehand as it is incredibly busy, but overall it's amazing!!!
Food was really great, but the service was absolute garbage. We made a reservation on a weeknight as a courtesy to the staff.
However, the hostess tried to seat us at a table by the restroom in the back where we couldn't even sit because the tables were so close together, & we're skinny!
Had to ask to be relocated. After waiting 15 minutes on a slower night we finally found someone to take our order.
Our food was dropped 30 minutes later, & we never saw anyone the rest of the experience until we tracked someone down to pay the bill, which was way too expensive for the lack of service we never received.
The space is extremely overcrowded. The music is insanely blaring. & the workers are everywhere but helping. Our water sat empty the entire service after it was finally dropped off.
This place needs better management, a complete hospitality training overhaul, & be relocated to a larger footprint.

The food was amazing. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The place was packed, with good music. A little loud to my liking but with the great atmosphere of this place, I'm not even complaining. Like that they have pitchers of cocktails.
I would definitely go there again.

We made a reservation easily & were able to change it the same day. When we arrived we were greeted & we sat quick. The service is warm & the food was good but the prices seemed too high. 8$ for a cappuccino? Yikes! We went from brunch & the place was full, good ambience, a DJ but the music was not too high, so people can talk. The food was tasty & each plate goes from $24-28. The service was a bit slow they only had 2 servers for the whole restaurant so that can be a challenge. It was good but the prices of beverages seemed too excessive… similar places offer coffee for half the price & same quality…
It's a cozy place, the service is great don't get me wrong but the food is not that good. We waited 25 mins for our plates, they serve generous portions though. The coffee (Americano) I do not recommend to get it... The DJ was good, nice music!! Also the decorations are very cool, overall super nice ambiance . Reserve ahead to secure your place! ☺️
Amazing Birria tacos, great service, good music. Karan will have the best recommendations & is a great reminder of what Service should always be like. Don't think twice, try them out.
The atmosphere was very nice, I would only say the music was too high to speak, but anyway it was nice & warm. The food was delicious, I would only specify not to make it spicy the next time because I ordered it no spicy, & after a few spoons, my mouth was on fire. The service was pretty kind & patient.
