Review Summary

Annie's Sur Le Lac is a scenic lakeside spot whose terrace and waterside views make it a popular destination for meals and drinks. Reviewers note generous portions and tasty dishes across items such as nachos, wings, fajitas, fish and chips, salmon and calamari, with the lakeside ambiance often cited as a highlight. The atmosphere and setting attract many visitors who come for the view and a relaxed vibe, including families and groups. Service quality is mixed, ranging from friendly and attentive to slow and inconsistent, with occasional order errors or long waits and sometimes missing essentials like water or napkins. Prices are repeatedly described as high for the value, though many feel the location and experience justify the cost, and some visits are praised for good staff and great days on the water. Overall, Annie's Sur Le Lac remains a popular choice for its scenery and food, drawing repeat visits, though reviewers call for more consistent service and better value.

Great place to sit outside for nachos & beer. Great experience in the west island. +++ if you can arrive by boat!

We've been visiting for a few years now, normally to enjoy a few beers & a plate of nachos by the pier on a summer's day. The latter never disappoints & staff has always been friendly (if a little on the slower side), but as with almost everything else, prices have gone a little berserk & it's getting to be a little too expensive for what it is. I still recommend it to anyone who wants to take in the sights & sounds on a beautiful day whilst downing a brewsky or two.

Annie's has been here, & more or less unchanged for more then 2 decades, & for good reason, what's more to ask? The food is fine, beer is cold & mixed drinks are refreshing as you watch the sunset from one of West Island's most iconic waterfront patios.

Food is delicious; we had beer & chicken fajitas. Chicken was great tender & flavourful. Friendly staff & lovely atmosphere too.

Good vibes on the terrace but lacking in beer options & no happy hour. Had the fajitas, very generous portion & sides but didn't love the spices that were used for the seasoning.

We had a beer & some appetizers. The service was good, & the food came in generous portions. It's a great option if you want to enjoy a relaxing time next to the water.

I've never had such a bad experience at a bar before. Paid a [bar only] tab over 110$ with tip then realized the waitress had charged us one too many beers. First the waitress argued that we drank that extra beer & dared us to look at the camera if we didn't believe her (because according to her everything that's punched is served).

When I asked her to talk to the manager, she went away to talk to a guy & came back actually saying "since you guys were good customers, we'll give it to you for free". A beer we never even consumed?

Then back at the table she had the nerve to ask if we wanted anything else. Then she said that she gave me 50c too much on that beer we never drank. So I gave her 50c.

On the way out, the manager told me that I was reimbursed so I shouldn't complain. I have never in my life have had bad service like that in a pub/bar. I will never set foot at Annie's again & I hope you won't either.
