Une belle découverte au coeur de Magog ! Trattoria Alessa propose une cuisine italienne typique, savoureuse & authentique, avec des ingrédients frais qui font toute la différence. Chaque plat respire la simplicité & le raffinement à l'italienne - des pâtes parfaitement al dente aux sauces maison pleines de caractère.
Le décor est moderne, élégant sans être prétentieux, avec une ambiance vivante. Certes, le niveau sonore peut être un peu élevé aux heures de pointe, mais rien d'excessif : ça reste convivial & chaleureux, comme dans une vraie trattoria italienne.
Mention spéciale à Matteo (Matthieu), notre serveur, dont le nom & l'attitude respirent l'Italie. Attentionné, souriant & de bon conseil, il a su rendre notre soirée encore plus agréable. Grâce à lui, le service était fluide & personnalisé.
💰 Les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité offerte, & on sent que tout est fait maison avec passion.

We were disappointed with the food. The menu looked great but then fell short with the simplest dishes. We ordered an insalata Mista, & we were served simple greens.. nothing added whatsoever, not even the chives mentioned in the description. Mista usually has other ingredients. We ordered spaghetti pomodoro & it was supposed to be a sauce with basil, no basil to be found except a small tiny leave on top, the sauce didn't taste of much. The foccacia was ok, but not at all the homemade quality we expected. Overall the meal was quite disappointing.

The service & atmosphere is amazing here. The food is fabulous as well BUT we're in 2024 almost 2025, it's time to understand the importance of having animal-free options. I almost always order the the Pinocchio pizza which has an artichoke & truffle based sauce along with mozzarella, parmigiano, pancetta (which I ask to remove) along with arugula. I ask for an extra mushroom to replace the cheese & meat removed & the restaurant will, not only have me pay the original price of the pizza (even if I have asked to remove the most expensive part of the pizza), but also charge me for the extra mushrooms. I'd like to ask a review of this & the logic behind it.
Mon craving Italien a été comblé à ce restaurant. Tout ce qu'il manquait sur le menu étaient des raviolis. J'ai pris les pâte Gigi, & mon copain la lasagne à la sauce Bolognaise. Trop trop bon. Notre serveuse était vraiment professionnelle, & le service était rapide & sophistiqué. La carte de vin & cocktails était généreuse. J'ai pris le cocktail signature Alessa & c'était la meilleure chose que j'ai mis dans mon ventre ce soir. Pour un resto dans une petite ville comme Magog, j'ai été bien bien agréablement surprise de la qualité de tout.
I am not sure what I was expecting to start with, this is definitely not a great restaurant & feel like a chain even if it isn't one. The pasta dishes were lacking flavor & sauce, almost felt dry because of almost no sauce on them, on top of that the pasta was overcooked. Pizza was actually good. You will do better pasta at home yourself. I will not go back.

Nous avons commandé des pennes à la vodka, base de sauce qui me rappelle la creme de tomate Aylmer en boîte, la salade cesar très bonne mais croûtons, ne vous aventurez pas à croquer, sinon vous risquez de vous casser les dents. Déception
Nous sommes allés avec nos 3 enfants à bas âge , service incroyable de notre serveur & notre serveuse. La cuisine était excellente, les pâtes ne sont pas des pâtes fraîche mais les sauces & l'exécution des plats nous fait oublier le tout surtout au prix des plats plus que raisonnable ! Le carpaccio de pieuvre est plus qu'excellent ! Je verse une larme tellement je m'ennuie déjà de ce plat ! Le restaurant est d'une propreté exemplaire & le décors est très beau ! En plus d'être ouvert 7/7 ! J'y suis allé à quelques reprise & j'y retrouverai volontiers lors de mon prochain passage à Magog !
Ok, can we talk about the lasagna! One of the best I have ever tasted. Laying of the delicate noodles with bolognese sauce with creamy béchamel was exquisite. We had the pizza Alessia which was very good. The dough was perfect & light. Service was top notch from a young gentleman from Belgium. Very polite, knowledgeable. Posed yet approachable, he brought me back to the times of grand restaurants & white gloves service. A wonderful experience & I will be forever looking to recreate that lasagna! Many thanks!

Ambiance & service très bien, mais la nourriture était très loin d’être de la vraie cuisine italienne de qualité. On s’attendait au moins à des pâtes fraîches, mais nous avons eu des pâtes ordinaires mal cuites & qui baignaient dans l’huile.
Les palourdes de mes pâtes aux fruits de mer étaient tellement coriaces à mâcher que j’ai du cracher ma bouchée. Je n’ai pas été capable de déceler le goût du vin blanc dans la sauce. Les côtelettes de veau de mon chum étaient gluantes, très fades & semblaient bouillies plutôt que cuites à la poêle. Nous n’y retournerons pas.
Nous avons mangé la pizza boulette de veau, & un spag bolognese!
La pâte a pizza est arrivé froide & mouillé! Molle, sans caractère…. Un peu décevant pour un resto Italien!
Pour le spag, des pâtes commercial, trop cuite avec peu de sauce, sans étincelle encore …
Très décevant pour deux plats, classique traditionnel sans gros défis!
Il y a beaucoup de meilleur choix Italien dans la région pour un prix moindre!
