Great vibe, live shows from singing to dancing to musical performances. The food is authentic & fresh & never disappoints, I honestly think it is amongst the top middle eastern cuisine I have had in Montreal. Mix that with friendly & quick service & you get the perfect combination fotlr a night well spent with friends & family. Highly recommend.
I love this restaurant, I drive all the way from Ottawa & its worth it every single time. Everything is great from the atmosphere, the vibes, the friendly staff, great service, delicious food & awesome owners/chefs. The belly dancer, singer, & DJ are also great, making the evening even more special. We had a gender reveal tonight & the staff was celebrating with us as family members. If you want to eat the best middle eastern food & have a great time, definitely visit this amazing place.
An absolute culinary delight! This Arabic restaurant surpassed all expectations. From the moment you step in, the aromatic spices tantalize your senses. Each dish is a masterpiece, perfectly blending tradition with a modern twist. Impeccable service & a cozy atmosphere make this a top-notch dining experience😊
We come here about once a month, sometimes more The food & the atmosphere is great. The quality of the ingredients doesn't disappoints Highly recommended for authentic middle eastern fresh dishes
The place is beautiful. Loved the vibe. The servers were all very nice. But our server wasn't able to explain to us items on the menu, which wasn't really very helpful. Appetizers were all delicious. Mains were a bit disappointing. If I go again I'd be ordering many appetizers to share & skip mains. It's also a bit on the expensive side.
Good vibes, a little bit smaller than expected & more pricey , but great designs & atmosphere.
Service is great, a bit on the pricier side on Friday the set menu is 70$ but has good portions & includes the evening event, singer starts around 9:30 pm, not sure when the belly dancer starts as at ~10:45pm that part didnt start yet.
Parking is extremely difficult, best to park at the nearby open private parking.
J'ai récemment découvert le restaurant Abu Zulof & je ne peux que le recommander chaudement. La cuisine libanaise-syrienne qui y est proposée est d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Chaque plat est préparé avec soin & les saveurs sont tout simplement exquises. Que vous soyez amateurs de mezze, de grillades ou de plats végétariens, vous trouverez votre bonheur dans ce restaurant.
Mais ce qui rend Abu Zulof véritablement spécial, c'est son ambiance chaleureuse & accueillante. Dès que l'on franchit la porte, on est transporté dans une véritable oasis du Moyen-Orient. La belle musique qui y est jouée en live par des musiciens talentueux, du jeudi au dimanche, ajoute une touche de magie à l'expérience. C'est un véritable régal pour les oreilles!
Le décor de l'endroit est tout simplement somptueux. Chaque détail a été soigneusement pensé pour recréer une atmosphère authentique du Moyen-Orient. Les motifs & les couleurs chatoyantes, les tapis & les lanternes suspendues créent une atmosphère envoûtante qui vous fait vraiment sentir comme si vous étiez transporté dans un autre monde.
Le personnel du restaurant est également d'une grande gentillesse & d'une grande courtoisie. Ils sont toujours prêts à répondre à vos questions & à vous conseiller sur les meilleurs plats à choisir. Le service est efficace & attentif, donnant ainsi une expérience globale très agréable.
En conclusion, si vous êtes à la recherche d'une expérience culinaire raffinée, d'une ambiance agréable & d'un voyage sensoriel au Moyen-Orient, rendez-vous au restaurant Abu Zulof. Vous ne serez pas déçus!
The decor is very cute & very creative with a lot of classic objects & photos of singers. It is a casual outing, & is on crescent, so keep that in mind when you come for a visit.
We were seated promptly & ordered a variety of items to try out from every section of the menu.
The portions were larger than other places, so unless you’re very hungry or are many, I wouldn’t order many dishes. As with many middle eastern places, the dishes are meant to be shared.
There were a lot of families & groups in the restaurant listening to the live music.
In comparison to other Syrian places around town & what we’ve had abroad, this place is just ok. Our favorite dishes were the mansaf, kibbeh & batersh. We didn’t enjoy the tabouleh, zulof & fish dish as much.

Probably the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had. Very fresh & large tabbouleh salad, crunchy & juicy kibbeh & falafels, without being too greasy. & a very interesting hummus chickpea & pita chip mix. Staff was lovely too!

Delicious food, great & fast service, & the atmosphere is so beautiful! Saturday night was amazing! Great Dj, violent musician, singer & belly dancer.. really a great entertainment group & program!! Everyone was having a great time! Highly recommended & very well priced.
Cool place! Unfortunately, our main dishes were not very fresh, 3 of us got the lamb & all got very sick later that night. Also, definitely expensive for what we got, for example, our grilled halloumi salad only had 4 small bites of halloumi, & the rest was replaced by Pringles chips Middle Eastern food is some of my favorite, so this was definitely disappointing.
