Abu El Zulof is a great spot if you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern flavors done right. The food is fresh, well-seasoned, & clearly prepared with care. Portions are generous & the quality is consistent across the dishes.

We were visiting from the U.S. over Thanksgiving & had our holiday meal here.

Ola & Elias were warm, welcoming & spoke with pride about the food, which was amazing. Authentic ingredients & preparation. Prefect for a family celebration.

Highly recommend & look forward to returning someday. So many more dishes to try!

For appetizers, we had the cheese samboosak as well as creamy hummus with fries & fresh tabbouleh - a perfect start to the meal. For the main dishes, we ordered mansaf, kebab karaz, & chicken with herbs - each one was flavorful, beautifully presented, & cooked to perfection. The mansaf was rich & authentic, the kebab karaz had the perfect balance of sweet & savory, & the herb chicken was so tender & aromatic.

To finish, we shared an Arabic ice cream plate with arabic cotton candy - not only was it a feast for the eyes, but also the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.

The service was attentive, & the atmosphere made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended.

We've now been to Abu El Zolof twice, & both times were a blast - but this past weekend was extra special as we chose to celebrate our friend's birthday there, & it was the perfect choice.

The place is spacious, clean, & beautifully set up for a lively night out. Right from the moment we walked in, the energy was great - you could feel that everyone was there to have a good time. The staff was welcoming, professional, & the service overall was smooth & attentive throughout the night.

They recently made a few changes to their set menu. Now it's $75 per person, & for that, you get a full mezza spread followed by BBQ kebab platters. Let me just say - the food was delicious. Every bite brought back familiar Lebanese flavors that felt both authentic & fresh.

We enjoyed everything from the fattoush, tabouli, hummus, baba ghanouj, & mhamara to the perfectly made kibbeh & wara2 3inab (stuffed grape leaves). These two classics were especially tasty - the kibbeh had that perfect crunch on the outside & was juicy inside, & the grape leaves were soft, tangy, & flavorful.

The grilled meats were also a hit - tender, juicy, & well-seasoned.

If I had to suggest anything, it would be to add a couple of hot mezza dishes (like soujouk, makanek, or rakakat) to make the menu feel even more complete & rich - especially for the price point. But that's just a suggestion; the overall quality of the food was excellent.

This is where Abu El Zolof really shines. The singer was absolutely amazing - great voice, engaging, & knew exactly how to get the crowd going. The atmosphere turned into a full-on celebration with everyone clapping, dancing, & singing along.

To top it off, they had a belly dancer, & she was incredible - full of energy & talent, really elevating the whole experience. It's clear that they put a lot of thought into the entertainment, & it makes all the difference.

Whether you're looking for a spot to celebrate something special or just want a night of good food, music, & dancing, Abu El Zolof delivers. We had such a great time that we're already thinking about going back again.

Highly recommend this place for a fun night out - Lebanese-style!

The food is delicious. Our dinner was nicely accompanied by a live singer. Service was fast. The one thing is that it is a bit over priced. While the dishes are large, most mains are over 35$. & the cocktails are 21$ which is generally on the more expensive site. Despite that, I do recommend the Mouhammara & Makanek. It was truly delicious.

Truly some of the best Levantine food I've had. On the pricier side for certain dishes, but portions are generous.

This place was a highlight of our trip to Montreal. Everything here is beautiful - food is presented so nicely, & the restaurant itself is incredibly decorated. It was our last night in Montreal & we were looking for something where we could dress casually but get good, fresh food & a nice atmosphere. It was perfect. We had the hummus, moutabbal, muhammara (all veg), & the kibbeh sajia (beef). Service was warm & inviting. A mix of families & couples dining here. Dishes are large, for sharing. Would definitely recommend!

We recently dined at Abu el Zulof a place that once held a special spot on my list of go-to eateries. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in my latest visit. Firstly, the prices have soared dramatically. What was once a reasonably priced dining experience has now become an overpriced indulgence. The kebab Karaz & kebab Hindi were particularly disappointing. Both dishes, had the same mix of dry Kafta with different sauces. Lacked the juiciness & flavour. On a positive note, the salads were absolutely delicious. They provided a refreshing & flavorful contrast to the otherwise disappointing meal. However, even these were overpriced, adding to the overall sense of poor value for money. It's sad to see how this restaurant, which started off so promising, has now doubled its prices while allowing the quality of its food to deteriorate. I hope they can find a way to restore the quality & value that initially drew so many loyal customers.

Fantastic dining experience. We were with a group & therefore got to taste a wide variety of dishes: fatoush salad, hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel, fried cheese, & a meat plate (I didn't eat the meat personally but others said it was great). Great taste & quality ingredients. Attentive service throughout; fun fez hats to wear & a good musician playing a sort of guitar that sounded like flamenco. My only complaint is that the music was amplified so it was difficult to talk over it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The ambiance was very pleasant, & the dishes were exceptional, truly capturing the essence of Middle Eastern flavors. Dining here feels like a brief, delightful voyage to the Middle East. However, be prepared as the prices are a bit on the higher side. Nevertheless, it's worth it for the amazing culinary experience!

Not sure why this place has high ratings. I went there with my friend & I wasn't impressed much. We ordered Iftar set menu. The service was a bit slow, but the staff were friendly. The food was ok. We paid 150$ for two Iftar set menus which I believe it was way overpriced compared to the quality of the food served. The set menu consists of a cold beverage (Jallab) a lentil soup, fattouch, Fatteh, main course & a dessert. We ordered two main courses, shakeriya & mixed grilles, the shakeriya was ok but I can't say I was impressed with the mixed grills the dish came with a lot of fries, 4 big chops of shish tawuk & 4 big chops of beef, small breads with a spicy sauce which was bitter not spicy & no kebabs or grilled onions. The dessert was ok. Two things I disliked about this place, first was the very loud music. The second thing was the parking, this restaurant is in a busy area in downtown so finding a parking can be very problematic. Sorry I was too hungry so I didn't take good pictures of the dishes 😆

The ambiance was cool, the food was great, & the service was alright ( it was hard to get the attention of the waiters), but the management was great! The prices are a bit on the high end tho. Still, I would definitely come again to try other dishes!

The decor is very cute & very creative with a lot of classic objects & photos of singers. It is a casual outing, & is on crescent, so keep that in mind when you come for a visit.

We were seated promptly & ordered a variety of items to try out from every section of the menu.
The portions were larger than other places, so unless you’re very hungry or are many, I wouldn’t order many dishes. As with many middle eastern places, the dishes are meant to be shared.

There were a lot of families & groups in the restaurant listening to the live music.

In comparison to other Syrian places around town & what we’ve had abroad, this place is just ok. Our favorite dishes were the mansaf, kibbeh & batersh. We didn’t enjoy the tabouleh, zulof & fish dish as much.

Cool place! Unfortunately, our main dishes were not very fresh, 3 of us got the lamb & all got very sick later that night. Also, definitely expensive for what we got, for example, our grilled halloumi salad only had 4 small bites of halloumi, & the rest was replaced by Pringles chips Middle Eastern food is some of my favorite, so this was definitely disappointing.
