We were tired from traveling, so we sat outside since inside was loud with belly dancer (super cool) Although food was in to go boxes, it was delicious Lebanese food from the grape leaves, Falafel, to the grilled chicken. Surprisingly the Lebanese wine was one of the best we've had.View more

We ordered a few meze plates. All were Super yummy. Generous servings which is nice. Pita bread was basic. I wish they had home made pita would make this menu out of this world. Service was super nice (giy with braided hair) !. I highly recommend this place.View more

We recently dined at Abu el Zulof a place that once held a special spot on my list of go-to eateries. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in my latest visit. Firstly, the prices have soared dramatically. What was once a reasonably priced dining experience has now become an overpriced indulgence. The kebab Karaz & kebab Hindi were particularly disappointing. Both dishes, had the same mix of dry Kafta with different sauces. Lacked the juiciness & flavour. On a positive note, the salads were absolutely delicious. They provided a refreshing & flavorful contrast to the otherwise disappointing meal. However, even these were overpriced, adding to the overall sense of poor value for money. It's sad to see how this restaurant, which started off so promising, has now doubled its prices while allowing the quality of its food to deteriorate. I hope they can find a way to restore the quality & value that initially drew so many loyal customers.View more

We had rhe best experience at Abu Zolof. We booked on a Sunday expecting a quite evening but it turned to a bog party. The food was outstanding. The Oud player was so good that i highly recommend to all coming to Montreal or living here!View more

Fantastic dining experience. We were with a group & therefore got to taste a wide variety of dishes: fatoush salad, hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel, fried cheese, & a meat plate (I didn't eat the meat personally but others said it was great). Great taste & quality ingredients. Attentive service throughout; fun fez hats to wear & a good musician playing a sort of guitar that sounded like flamenco. My only complaint is that the music was amplified so it was difficult to talk over it.View more
Visiting from NYC we're always up for trying different cultures food & cuisine. This was definitely atop the list, being from NY I've basically seen & had it all but this was a really enjoyable first authentic Middle Easter experience. The atmosphere & ambiance & decor was nothing that we've experienced before & was very impressed. As a musician myself, I was also really drawn to the singing, the playing & the DJ. The live Lebanese music & entertaining belly dance that we were able to take part in was really fun. The foods were big in portions, delicious, rich in flavor & had no complaints whatsoever. Our taste buds & stomach were very satisfied. Friendly attentive staff. We were seated right away didn't feel rushed. I like when we're finished eating that we can just enjoy a conversation without the check being placed in front of us. Shout out to the cooks in the back as well, they definitely don't get as much credit as deserved. You may either want to walk or take a taxi, parking can be difficult to come by. May be a bit on the pricier side for some but it's well worth it. The entire decor was authentic from the moment you walk in from the stairway, the walls were interesting, the chairs, the floor were were catching & even the table cloths, felt like I was eating on Aladdin's magical rug, in a good way. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for something different.View more
