🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently visited Abu El Zoulof on Crescent Street, & it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The ambiance was warm & inviting, with amazing Middle Eastern music that instantly transported us to another world. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, & went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding authentic, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Every dish was a burst of flavors, from the fresh appetizers to the perfectly spiced mains. It's clear that a lot of love & passion goes into their food, & it truly made the meal unforgettable. If you're looking for a place in Montreal with great vibes, delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, & a welcoming atmosphere, Abu El Zoulof is a must-visit! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a memorable dining experience.View more
We visited for dinner on a Tuesday night. The Fattoush was absolutely delicious & a must-try. The Muhammara had good flavor, though the texture was thicker than usual. The Batata Harra was served as seasoned fries instead of the traditional cubes, which was a pleasant surprise. We were excited to try the Mansaf, but it didn't quite meet our expectations. However, the staff kindly offered to replace it with another dish. Overall, the experience was positive, & the atmosphere was nice, though the prices are on the higher side for Middle Eastern cuisine.View more
AMAZING!! After trying almost all of the kibbeh nayyeh in Mtl & Laval this is the best I've had. The waiter Elias was super professional & the owner made us feel at home. If you want authentic & top tier middle eastern food & drinks come here. 10/10 would recommendView more

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The ambiance was very pleasant, & the dishes were exceptional, truly capturing the essence of Middle Eastern flavors. Dining here feels like a brief, delightful voyage to the Middle East. However, be prepared as the prices are a bit on the higher side. Nevertheless, it's worth it for the amazing culinary experience!View more
Abu el Zulof's brunch isn't just about the food - it's a nostalgic journey through flavors & memories. The charming interior decor, reminiscent of childhood days, envelops you in warmth & comfort. Vintage trinkets & colorful tapestries adorn the walls, setting the stage for a trip down memory lane. Accompanying this nostalgic setting is the music - a medley of traditional tunes that whisk you back to family gatherings & festive occasions. As you indulge in the flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine, memories flood back with each bite. Crisp falafel paired with creamy hummus, comforting shakshouka served with warm bread, & the surprising combination of halloumi bread with watermelon - each dish is a delicious ode to the past. Throughout the experience, the attentive service & friendly staff ensure that every moment is filled with joy & nostalgia. Abu el Zulof's brunch isn't just a meal - it's a nostalgic escape, making it the perfect destination for a leisurely weekend brunch with a touch of nostalgia.View more
Excellent food! Best middle eastern restaurant in town! All dishes ordered were outstanding & beyond expectations! Service was phenomenal! I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could! Very much recommended!!View more
A year ago, I wandered into this restaurant. Ok, I actually searched google for good middle eastern food, & this place came up. It was absolutely spectacular. I remember having a Syrian style ice cream & a tartare dish. The sweet velvet cotton candy balanced out with the pistachio & the ice cream. The tartare dish reminded me of kitfo, an Ethiopian dish. It was delectable. The Syrian servers were really nice. I got an impression that they were curious that an Asian ended up in their restaurant (in fact, a customer stared at me hard). I'm no stranger to exploring global cuisines though. & the thing is, if your food is good, people in all corners will come :).View more

I love this restaurant, I drive all the way from Ottawa & its worth it every single time. Everything is great from the atmosphere, the vibes, the friendly staff, great service, delicious food & awesome owners/chefs. The belly dancer, singer, & DJ are also great, making the evening even more special. We had a gender reveal tonight & the staff was celebrating with us as family members. If you want to eat the best middle eastern food & have a great time, definitely visit this amazing place.View more
We come here about once a month, sometimes more The food & the atmosphere is great. The quality of the ingredients doesn't disappoints Highly recommended for authentic middle eastern fresh dishesView more
The decor is very cute & very creative with a lot of classic objects & photos of singers. It is a casual outing, & is on crescent, so keep that in mind when you come for a visit.
We were seated promptly & ordered a variety of items to try out from every section of the menu.
The portions were larger than other places, so unless you’re very hungry or are many, I wouldn’t order many dishes. As with many middle eastern places, the dishes are meant to be shared.
There were a lot of families & groups in the restaurant listening to the live music.
In comparison to other Syrian places around town & what we’ve had abroad, this place is just ok. Our favorite dishes were the mansaf, kibbeh & batersh. We didn’t enjoy the tabouleh, zulof & fish dish as much.View more
Probably the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had. Very fresh & large tabbouleh salad, crunchy & juicy kibbeh & falafels, without being too greasy. & a very interesting hummus chickpea & pita chip mix. Staff was lovely too!View more
Cool place! Unfortunately, our main dishes were not very fresh, 3 of us got the lamb & all got very sick later that night. Also, definitely expensive for what we got, for example, our grilled halloumi salad only had 4 small bites of halloumi, & the rest was replaced by Pringles chips Middle Eastern food is some of my favorite, so this was definitely disappointing.View more
I went today with my friend for the first time, & the food was beyond amazing. Honestly, the closest I got to actual middle eastern food!!! The decor of the place is so beautiful, reminds me of Syrian houses with the fountain in the middle. The staff are super nice & welcoming 😊
We ordered the tabouleh, mansaf, cheese sambousek, batresh & maskhan. Each dish was beautifully made to perfection!
Thanks so much for your hospitality.View more
