Came across this restaurant coincidentally & I'm pleasantly amazed! The food was delicious, the decor & music amplified the experience.
We took the mushroom dumplings & the fried eggplant. De-Lish ⭐?
Crudo was surprisingly light & fresh.
Lamb skewer was flavourful & rich.
The fried chicken was tender & bursting with flavours.
We ended the night with the matcha cake. Perfectly light & airy.View more

Bravo à ce petit resto sud-coréen! Le service était impeccable. Le menu varié & différent est composé de plats à partager. Ils semblaient tous aussi appétissants les uns que les autres. Mon coup de coeur va au dumpling qui avait une texture vraiment intéressante (sa cuisson était parfaite). Nous avons aussi mangé les pleurotes frites avec l'aïoli, la salade césar au kimchi, le plat de maïs & pain brioché & le poulet frit. & le coup de coeur de mon chum revient à la longe de porc frite qui vaut vraiment le détour. Elle était juteuse & la panko maison était délicieuse. De plus la portion était assez généreuse. Nous étions déçus de ne plus avoir de place pour le dessert car les plats proposés étaient alléchants. Nous avons dîner à 9 TAIL Fox & ce fut une superbe expérience ! Les serveurs s'assurent en début de repas de nos allergies alimentaires attention très apprécié ! Nous avons pris plusieurs plats à partager un pure délire nous avons pris les Dumplings, les Aubergines frit, la Burrata kimchi de tomate incroyable! Nous avons aussi pris les boulets d'agneau, le poulet un peu déçu par le poulet mais rien de bien grave ce n'est que nos goûts & pour finir la tarte Pécane glace gingembre nous nous sommes régalés ! Le restaurant est très jolie très cosy la musique superbe on se sent transporté l'instant d'une soirée ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!View more

Délicieux ! Cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas mangé des plats aussi savoureux à Montréal. Les dumplings sont exceptionnels, les accords justement maîtrisés, les sauces sont toutes délicieuses, la viande est tendre. Allez y les yeux fermés !View more

Very creative Korean-ish food. Dumplings with soy sauce & truffle oil, kimchi pancake with a baby shrimp salad on top, pleurotte mushrooms crispy fried. I didn't try any if the meat dishes but the tonkasse, duck & fried chicken all disappeared. Staff was incredibly friendly. The music was good (but a little too loud). On a great restaurant street, this was a great find.View more

Dumplings were very good, but other menus were a bit disappointing because it lacked flavor imo, although it was still good. But realistically, I don't see myself coming back here to try other menus. Price is nice for a high-end restaurant. One thing that I found weird was that the server(s) was wearing an Adidas jogger, which I dont think matches the environment of the restaurant. Turned the nice restaurant vibe into a family owned restaurant real quick loool. But they were nice!View more

Had a chance to sit in terrace on the perfect weather! The food is always amazing. I love how they twist authentic Korean dishes with various interesting flavours! The dumplings, donkatsu & kimchi fried rice are my all time favourites. The service was very nice & welcoming. I really loved the whole atmosphere. I'll visit again soon :)View more

Came here for date night, as I've been wanting to check it out for a while. I appreciate the plant decor everywhere! Don't love the high seating as it's less comfortable for shorter folks, but overall nice atmosphere. Interesting food items (chicken hearts for ex.) alongside what I consider to be "Montreal classics" like burrata, salmon tartare & Caesar salad - but with their own spin. The Caesar was veryyy creamy & we didn't notice the kimchi flavour. The dumplings were delicious but the order only comes with 2 (will leave you wanting more). The shrimp toast was also a small portion but very tasty. Finally, we had the snow crab pesto homemade capellini which was very good too. There was a hint of maybe anis or fennel that threw us off at first but we came to appreciate. Be aware that it's not big portions & can add up quickly. Overall nice experience!View more

We were a big group & did the fixed menu; the services were all incredible. The first amuse-bouche was a crispy & savory porchini&truffle dumpling which really set the tone for the deliciousness of the following dishes.View more

My visit to 9 Tail Fox Restaurant left me quite disappointed. Despite eagerly anticipating the experience after following them on Instagram, the reality fell short. While the dumplings were decent, the excessive use of soy sauce on everything detracted from the overall enjoyment. The sea bass dish was particularly disappointing; not only was the portion size minuscule, but the vegetables were drowned in a salty, bitter sauce that made them nearly inedible. This sentiment was shared among my friends, who also found the dishes overly salty. Hopefully, the restaurant can address these issues to provide a more satisfying dining experience in the future.View more

Finally a restaurant with a decent music volume level! It was very easy to speak even if there was a small background music noise. I loved it! On the food scale, it was AMAZING for everything: - the dumpling was just drooling & tasteful 🤤 - the pumpkin gnocchi were delicious - the lamb meatballs were simply fantastic Only disappointment were the squid skewer, a bit rubbery. The flavors were amazing, thought! & the cocktail was very good & flavorful: a nice spicy mandarin with tequila cocktail. I highly recommend this place, a nice tapas style restaurant perfect for connecting with your friends 😀 & if you ask nicely, it can be possible to order some plates for takeout. It's not the primary type of service, but they can accommodate if you ask politely.View more

La nourriture était correcte, sans plus. Les dumplings & la tartine de crevettes n'avaient que très peu de goût (on ne goûtait que la friture). Le poulet frit & l'entrée de choux-fleurs étaient bons mais pas épatants. Les portions étaient idéales pour partager, mais nous n'avons pas trouvé que la qualité de la nourriture valait le prix. Après 4 assiettes, c'était assez & nous avons décidé de ne pas commander plus, étant plutôt déçus de nos plats. Le cocktail (Saigon Mule) était très bon par contre!View more

Everything was absolutely perfect. We tried at least 7 of the dishes & all of them were so good. The LA Galbi, the octopus, the crudo, the oysters, the tartare, the dumplings & the Menbosha is what we took. We sat at the bar which is right where you can see the cooks do their magic. The service was impeccable! They took attention to detail, & knew their menu throughout. They described each plate & gave us excellent recommendations. Im very much excited to go back to try the other dishes. One of my new favorite spots!View more
via LibroI loved this restaurant before but I found that last night the taste & overall presentation have gone down since I was there this summer. The food was always adventurous & refined. Yesterday the dumplings were the same, but the cauliflower was tough, not bright, & the plating was average. The soup was good but the calamari were tough & chewy. The crudo was delicious but not plated as well as it used to be. My friend & I were disappointed. I hope this was just a bad night.

Omg. A real gem. Tiny but the atmosphere very nice. Great service, the waitress was very kind & also knew what wine goes with what. The food, korean fushion I would say. Loved it very much. My friend & I had their signature dumplings oyster mushroom tempura kimchi fried rice yuringi (fried chicken asian chimichurri) duck confit beef tartare (tastes like korean bulgogi) Definitely have to go back & try other dishes!View more

La bouffe était vraiment succulente!!!! Tout était bon : crudo; pieuvre; toats de crevettes; riz frit; dumpling & pleurottes tempura. Le vin était bon aussi.
Seul bémol: musique un peu trop fort.

Cute new place in Saint Henri. While the waiter made a mistake in our order we were offered a drink on the house. all the dishes were good & nice portion to share. The oysters were very good & well seasoned. The calamari with sweet potato soup & the dumplings were my favourites !View more

Service rapide & professionnel.L'ambiance est aussi agréable, pas trop bruyant, on peut parler. L'intensité de l'éclairage est aussi savamment dosée. Réservation conseillée.

Food was delicious, but in very small quantity. You will need to order at least 4-6 plates for 2 people. Cocktails (Suwon Mule), dumplings, & Kalguksu were especially good. (We did not order kimchi fried rice just because we make them at home, but the dish smelled amazing at the restaurant.) Carpaccio was so-so. Cuisine-wise, it is more western than Korean.View more
