Highly recommended! Bravo Chef Lee!
We had a wonderful dining experience at ???. Loved the lively atmosphere, attentive servers, & of course the food.
We tried 6 Korean forward dishes from the menu & had a pleasant surprise.
The food looked ordinary until you took the first bite. The delicious main ingredients were complimented by 8 different Devine sauces, I meant really different.
Chef Lee brought our taste buds on a journal, from simplistic to multilayer flavour. This restaurant is a hidden gem in plain sight!View more
The team at 9 Tail Fox are passionate about their profession & it shows! The service was flawless & friendly & the food? It's creative Asian fusion & done extremely well. Our table of 4 ordered a number of dishes to share: oysters, burrata with kimchi, salmon tartare with ikura, eggplant, lamb, octopus, & crudo. & everything was delicious! We will definitely go back again to try the other half of the menu. Many thanks to Julian & Chanel for the fun dinner service & the perfect summer evening! It will definitely be a birthday to remember!View more
Food :
Gorgeous dishes / presentation.
It tastes so good 👍
Our favorites are the eggplant & the chicken dish.
Beverage:
My husband had PA beer 🍺
I had mocktail.. so refreshing.
The manager gave us complimentary for the Soju & mocktail while we were sitting at the bar. What a nice surprise.
Dessert :
A must try!!!
All of them looks so good
We had a matcha dish ... So good 😊 👍
STAFF:
Very friendly, very accommodating.
We were there at the busy Friday night , the chefs at the kitchen counter made great food for us ...
We enjoyed food & the cooking show as well.
Highly recommended to sit at the kitchen bar !
It's fun !!

We loved our meal at 9 Tail Fox! The food was flavorful & beautifully presented, with clear attention to detail. We tried the seasonal asparagus, oyster mushroom tempura, duck confit, steak & fries, & matcha yuzu cheesecake-all were fantastic.
The tapas-style, Korean-Western fusion dishes felt fresh & well-balanced. A great spot for a unique & satisfying dining experience in Montreal!View more
Definitely one of the best place to go in Montreal. The owner blend perfectly the flavour of Korean dishes with some hints of French cuisine!View more
I was craving raw fish with soju, but they were out 😭(I guess I will have to come 🔙), so I tried the pork belly, chicken heart, salmon tartare, matcha ice cream, ginger ice cream, & cheesecake instead. The chicken heart was my favorite-I've loved it since childhood! Some dishes were so close to perfection but just needed a bit more balance to truly shine. Say, I would've really enjoyed a fresh or pickled element to cut through the richness of the heavier pork & mussels.
The vibe is amazinggg, felt like I escaped for a moment. It's a peaceful, relaxing spot to eat & drink. The presentation was stunning 😍, & I love the smaller portions, making it easy to try multiple dishes.😋 Excited to see the summer menu~ The ginger ice cream tasted just like Swedish pepparkakor really so so good!View more
My friend & I were really impressed with the food. Such great flavors & combinations. We will definitely come back. It is not authentic Korean food though it's just has some Korean inspired ingredients or flavors tossed into some of their dishes. More like western Asian fusion.View more
We were charged a dish extra & a glass of wine we hadnt ordered. They gave us a bit of soju to make up for it but they were clearly understaffed with 2 waiters & the 2 chefs for the whole packed restaurant on a Saturday night. Waiters were good & did their best tho. The chefs are really good & some of the dishes are exquisite (gnocchis, fried oyster), others are more just deep fried with no presentation like the pleurotes. Overall bill was 140$ for a bottle of wine & 4 dishes which is more pricey than other similar restaurants. Not bad but bit great either. Appreciated it but will not return.View more
Since our discovery of 9tailfox a few weeks after its opening, we have been raving about this place to anyone who's listening. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Montreal, hands down! Amazing cooking, charming staff, creative dishes & a cozy atmosphere! You will love it!View more
Excellent dishes, fantastic service (thank you Chanel), perfect for a group of friends to share plates & sip cocktails. Super fair price.View more
Every dish was exquisitely prepared with delicately nuanced Korean flavours mixed in with a French cooking style. We enjoyed & shared 8 different dishes & 2 desserts. Absolutely every dish was unique, delicious & had a beautiful presentation. Thank you Lee for an amazing meal & Chanel for your lovely service.View more
I loved the unique blend of Korean food with a European touch at this restaurant. The dishes were flavorful presented. The wine pairing recommendations were perfect, making the meal even more enjoyable. Great service & a cozy atmosphere, definitely worth a visit :)View more
We came here for dinner & ordered four dishes (one appetizer for $12, one dish for $17, one for $21, & the last for $28) along with a beer. We enjoyed the fried oyster mushroom, & the crudo was nice too. However, the octopus, despite being the most expensive dish, could have been better-it was missing some flavor. As soon as we sat down, our waitress strongly suggested that we order at least 6-8 dishes for three people (including one young child) since the dishes are meant to be shared. As I mentioned, we didn't order all the dishes within the $12-$14 range, but the waitress gave us a look with our order. I don't think it's good service to make customers feel uncomfortable like that. We don't need this treatment & will not come back.View more
Best meal I've had in a while. It's Korean fusion, so it's interesting & delicious takes on regular dishes with a Korean twist. I'm definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.View more
Very creative Korean-ish food. Dumplings with soy sauce & truffle oil, kimchi pancake with a baby shrimp salad on top, pleurotte mushrooms crispy fried. I didn't try any if the meat dishes but the tonkasse, duck & fried chicken all disappeared. Staff was incredibly friendly. The music was good (but a little too loud). On a great restaurant street, this was a great find.View more
I've heard about this place when it opened up, but never had a chance to visit this place. Recently, I finally had a chance to visit with a company of 3, & the experience was better than my expectations. We tried most of their dishes on the menu except for 3 items, which we could not order because we could not take any more food!! & I confess everything was so delicious that I ordered more than we could digest. When we got there, it was about 5:30 pm on Thursday evening, & things were getting started. Many patrons started coming in & soon enough, there was no table available. It seemed like most of them were returning customers & I could certainly guess why. I must warn though.. all staffs are so friendly, you'll end-up spending more money than planned & get out happy. Crazy.View more
Had a chance to sit in terrace on the perfect weather! The food is always amazing. I love how they twist authentic Korean dishes with various interesting flavours! The dumplings, donkatsu & kimchi fried rice are my all time favourites. The service was very nice & welcoming. I really loved the whole atmosphere. I'll visit again soon :)View more
It's my second time here, still enjoying every dishes & the good service!View more
We were a big group & did the fixed menu; the services were all incredible. The first amuse-bouche was a crispy & savory porchini&truffle dumpling which really set the tone for the deliciousness of the following dishes.View more
My visit to 9 Tail Fox Restaurant left me quite disappointed. Despite eagerly anticipating the experience after following them on Instagram, the reality fell short. While the dumplings were decent, the excessive use of soy sauce on everything detracted from the overall enjoyment. The sea bass dish was particularly disappointing; not only was the portion size minuscule, but the vegetables were drowned in a salty, bitter sauce that made them nearly inedible. This sentiment was shared among my friends, who also found the dishes overly salty. Hopefully, the restaurant can address these issues to provide a more satisfying dining experience in the future.View more
Amazing little discovery! Very very tasty but a bit too salty! We almost ordered everything :) Personally recommend the dumplings & oysters! Very very very good! Other dishes are good as well. Dinning room very cozy Service was amazingView more
Everything was absolutely perfect. We tried at least 7 of the dishes & all of them were so good. The LA Galbi, the octopus, the crudo, the oysters, the tartare, the dumplings & the Menbosha is what we took. We sat at the bar which is right where you can see the cooks do their magic. The service was impeccable! They took attention to detail, & knew their menu throughout. They described each plate & gave us excellent recommendations. Im very much excited to go back to try the other dishes. One of my new favorite spots!View more
Excellent food, fast service, great cocktails.
Great dishes with different Korean items than seen elsewhere
Cool ambiance, friendly service, all dishes were great except for the fried chicken which was mushy.
Omg. A real gem. Tiny but the atmosphere very nice. Great service, the waitress was very kind & also knew what wine goes with what. The food, korean fushion I would say. Loved it very much. My friend & I had their signature dumplings oyster mushroom tempura kimchi fried rice yuringi (fried chicken asian chimichurri) duck confit beef tartare (tastes like korean bulgogi) Definitely have to go back & try other dishes!View more
The new cocktails are delicious, especially Spicy Mandarin. We tried 10 dishes, all excellent! Favourites were the burrata, the dumplings, the galbi, the menbosha. We will be back!View more

Cute new place in Saint Henri. While the waiter made a mistake in our order we were offered a drink on the house. all the dishes were good & nice portion to share. The oysters were very good & well seasoned. The calamari with sweet potato soup & the dumplings were my favourites !View more
Small portions perfect for sharing & trying many different dishes.
