A place with relaxing & casual attitude ... layback & sort of random decorations. Foods are pretty good in general, you go order food, wait to get buzz to pick up. Self serve model, but sometimes they also bring food to you when it's not too busy. Ordered Tuna Poke & a few other items for a group of four. I'd say that it would be helpful if they use a bigger bowl for the Tuna Poke cuz it's a bit too small & there is no way to stir & mix them along with the sauce or half of the bowl will be out, no matter how careful you are. Other than that food is actually good.
I had the most amazing Eggs Benedict at this breakfast bistro! The hollandaise sauce was perfectly balanced, & the sausages were crispy & satisfying. The portions are generous, & the bowl of fruit was refreshing. We also tried the iced lattes & iced chai with almond milk, both of which were delicious. They provide a variety of sauces on the table & free self-serve water. We were in town for three days & came here every morning because the food was exceptional. The decor is an eclectic mix of art, & the music is both relaxing & cool. I've officially marked this place as a favorite!
Outstanding & popular spot. Food & decor were on point. We got the Déjeuner Classique & that was better than any US diner ever. The only thing that wasn't great was being directed to an empty water station instead of letting us order another bottle of water. It remained empty for a full hour after telling the staff twice.
The most underrated restaurant in Montreal!!! Everything here is amazing, the food is delicious they have breakfast lunch & dinner, the vibes are immaculate, the decor is so cool & the music is fun & chill. Masha served us & was super nice. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know. We got the Van Gogh panini & New York crepe & the portions were generous, cost us less than 20$ per person with coffee & a smoothie!
a really cute spot that is easily missed due to the construction next door. there are neon signs all over the front, but inside is a whimsical space filled with decorative oddities/trinkets. order & pay at the counter. food will be served to you at your table. came here on a tuesday morning for breakfast. it was fairly empty. the service did take quite a bit as there was only one person who seemed to be working. ordered the shashuka (ok. very heavy on tomatoes), the strawberry chocolate crepe (ate it all), & the van gogh panini (a good light healthy option as it was barely seasoned) all in all, i didn't hate it. the atmosphere is what im mostly basing this review on. perhaps i will try other dishes the next time i come. i will say that the bread is super good.
Generally bland food & coffee with an aggressively unhelpful attitude in nice decor. If you do go, the pancakes were good. Owner (if I am correct in who she was) seems nice but the staff is awful. I knew something might be off when we saw the unabashed use of Costco branded salt shakers on the tables. Hard to imagine that what you don't see will be good if what you *do* see shows a lack of concern for details. But the general decor was warm & funky.... & it was raining. So we stayed. No tables were clean so I asked for a napkin to clean my own table. We got one napkin. I asked again. I got one more...As if they were on ration. Silverware didn't arrive with the food & then took 5 minutes to arrive after the food. Muffin was dry & bland. As was the shakshuka. At least the Pain au chocolat & pancakes were good when they finally arrived. We asked for water. There was none available. Was told to wait 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we are still waiting. With so many great restaurants in Montreal, zero reason to go here.

Great spot in the places Des art, you can get food until 11 pm. Well decorated inside, variety of food ,mixed cuisine. Check it out here if you are nearby.
