Review Summary

325 F - Cuisine de Madagascar is repeatedly described as a warm, welcoming, family run spot that brings Madagascar flavors to Montreal. The menu is simple and focused, with authentic Malagasy dishes such as ravitoto, misao, kitoza, cassava bread, and coconut chicken curry that many find rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful. Service is praised as attentive and friendly, with the mother of the chef often greeting tables and contributing to a homey, personal atmosphere. Guests note great value, the option to bring your own wine or beer, and prices that make frequent visits feasible. The ambiance is described as cozy, intimate, and reminiscent of Madagascar, with warm decor and a casual open kitchen that adds to the sense of hospitality. Reservations are often recommended due to popularity. Overall these reviews portray a consistently satisfying experience marked by flavorful, thoughtfully prepared dishes, generous portions, and a welcoming, family style service that many would return for.

Very simple menu with only 16 items including dessert menu, but very delicious. It was comfort food at very reasonable prices. The 4 of us shared all the dishes. We'll definitely go back to try the rest & do repeats!

This was my first time trying Madagascar cuisine. The sambos & mango salad were a good start to the meal to get my appetite going. I would recommend the Kitoza pork & the Misao. Definitely coming back for the smoked chicken! If you like hot sauce, they make a house hot sauce that's not on the menu, so make sure you ask for it! Make sure to also try the house donuts & mofo ravina desserts
