Here, at 123dzo Resto-Bar, you will find an exquisite presentation of our Vietnamese cuisine and a great selection of cocktails. 123Dzo means 1.2.3..cheers! A very distinctive slogan when Vietnamese people drink. Our goal is to bring the most authentic streetfood and ambiance, as if you were traveling to Viet Nam.
123 Dzo Vietnamese Restaurant & Bar is described as a lively Vietnamese tapas spot with fresh, flavorful dishes and a creative menu, especially strong on seafood and authentic flavors. The atmosphere gets praise for its modern vibe, good lighting, and background music, though a few reviews call the volume a bit loud. Service is a mixed bag, with many customers noting attentive, friendly staff who are helpful about allergies, while others report slow, uneven service and long waits at times. Dishes are generally delicious and well presented, though some experiences mention small portions, occasional overcooking, or issues with consistency and cleanliness in a few items. Overall, the restaurant is seen as a popular, enjoyable option for groups and friends, with many saying they would return and recommending making a reservation, while acknowledging that experiences can vary.
I'm so glad we stopped here. Food was delicious! We got squid skewers, shrimp rolls, egg rolls, beef summer rolls, pork bahn mi, & the pancake. All of it was great & I would get it all again but there are also a lot of other things I want to try too. So glad this in our neighborhood & I can't wait to go back!
The skewers were delicious, especially when accompanied by the Vietnamese IPA. The Bánh Cu?n (Steamed Rice Rolls) with Ch? l?a was good, though the portion was small. While the dishes were quite decent overall, the slow service made the dinner feel drawn out.

I really like the environment that have the Vietnamese touch. The restaurant is tapas style & they are famous for the seafood.
But I found they Skeeters are nice too
We had papaya salad & beef creche to start with. We shared a picher sangria to dhare & had a blue with coconut, & pink with rose.
We found you can taste more coconut & pink rose taste drink than in the sangria.
We have ordered a skewer platter (10pc to share), soft share crab, the noodle, rice with pick chops, a beef on the iron skillet thing.
All very good! Group of 6, paid around $65 (tax & tops included) per person.
Service is nice, drink is nice
Now I understand why lots of people recommended this place.
Edit:
After posting the review, the Manager finally reached out & offered to refund me back the extra charge. Although, it shouldn't take this much effort to fix their mistake, I nonetheless appreciate that a resolution was reached in the end.
----------
Food:
We ordered all tapas. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was quite poor. The clams were not cleaned properly & each bite was full of sand & broken pieces of shell, it was very unpleasant to eat. The Bo la lot (which also happens to be the most expensive item in the brochettes/skewers section) resembled the driest meat balls with a powdery textile. The mussels was the only dish that tasted good. But since the seafood was not cleaned properly, we all had diarrhea when we got home. The cocktails were on the sweeter side, though that is a personal preference.
Service:
We came in as a family for dinner & they were able to accommodate our toddler & infant. Like the other reviews have mentioned, service is very slow even though there were 3 servers at this small establishment that night. The service was disorganized & it was really hard to get the attention of anyone. The food took almost 45min to come out, not ideal when you have a hungry toddler. They then charged us for an order of soft-shell crab that we never received. Mistakes happen, so that's no big deal. We called them an hour after we left to give them a chance to fix the mistake & they promise to have the manager to call us back. No one called. I was never able to get to the Manager after calling multiple times over a week. I am informed that the Manager is seldom there but he is aware of the situation & he doesn't have time to fix it.
Please note that charging someone without providing the good or service is considered fraud. I can not recommend a restaurant that believe this is ok. I really hate posting negative reviews so I waited a week before posting, giving them plenty of time to rectify the situation.

Overall, the food was good. I liked the « bot chien » which was the crispy rice cake with the homemade soy sauce. Also really loved the mango salad, that was probably my favorite dish from the restaurant. The chicken skewer were good & tender. I would have pass on the fried calamari & the bun rieu, which lack flavours. The service was a bit slow.
Went there because of the good reviews but I have to say we are very disappointed. Services were super slow. It took them 20+mins to get us tap water! The $16 squid dish was such a small portion, literally 3-4 bites. The skewers were overcooked so tasted very dry. This place is overrated & overpriced.
Food was amazing! Was pelasantly surprised by the corn salad. Had the vermicelli with chicken & it was delicious. My friend had a rice plate, which was just okay. The skewers were very tasty. But the wings were the highlight of our meal! Mocktail was very nice. We were sitting at the bar & all the drinks looked very cute. Iced coffee is not the best but not the worst. The coffee flavour was too mild for my taste. I like a really strong coffee flavour.
I ordered grilled pork with egg rolls, & my boyfriend ordered pork & beef in betel leaves. The grilled pork on the skewer was super tasty, especially with the pickled carrots-I loved those. However, the pork & beef in betel leaves didn't stand out to me. The portion size seemed small for the price.

Wow, so, this was a nice little discovery! First of all, when I arrived (5:30), there were only 2 tables. Within one hour, the restaurant filled up with groups of 6-10 people (Thursday night). There was only one waiter (Franco) who received help from a bar service colleague. They were on fire! Service was quick, we never had to signal them to the table. The food was absolutely delicious & full of flavours. The tapas were generous portions for the price. I saw what was being waited at different tables - lots of variety. We took two salads (Papaya Salad with beef jerky & the Jellyfish salad - which was surprisingly good), brochette skewers (beef & chicken) & the friend panjo shrimp with a homemade sauce. Very delicious, I'll be back for sure.
