We had already been here before and absolutely loved everything, the cozy decor, the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. This time, Irem took care of us and made the experience even better. She gave us amazing recommendations from the menu, everything she suggested was delicious. She was incredibly kind and professional, and truly made our night special. We recently moved to Toronto from Montreal, but we come back every time we visit Montreal. Highly recommend!

Il n'y a rien qui donne envie d'y revenir. La nourriture est très basique et standard ainsi que l'ambiance générale ou le cadre du restaurant.
First time going there and was really impressed. Food was amazinggggg, staff was also very nice and sweet ! Plus if its your first order you get a free sushi pizza. Would recommend!
Shared many items and the Udon dish by far was the best. Sushi rolls were good but nothing spectacular. Picture includes sushi rolls and raw scallops.

We were a party of 6 and ordered a variety of dishes which we shared family-style. All the dishes ordered (gluten free) were delicious - portions were generous. It was excellent. Will definitely return.

We went to this place right after dining in their restaurant next door! Atmosphere and the design - just like the restaurant- is well thought and resembling Iranian culture and heritage. We have ordered a dessert called Freni, which was very delicious. Followed up by ginger tea, persian fog and some classic black tea. All well presented and proportionate. Saffron cake was also delicious!
Really enjoy this spot as a I have recently moved to Montreal. Can be hectic at times. but still a great place to hang out.

I was not really happy with the experience. Since there was no table service and the seating area was quite tightly arranged, it was uncomfortable to leave the table and go back to the counter if needed. Normally when I go out for breakfast, I look for a special and memorable taste experience, but unfortunately the food felt quite ordinary.
Le problème c'est la constance! Parfois c'est super bon, parfois on dirait qu'il oublie de mettre du sel…. Quand tu augmentes les prix, tu dois eviter les: (un jours c'est bon et un jours c'est pas bon) ! Quand on te demande bien manger… ca sert à quoi de faire une critique tout le monde est gêner de dire l'insatisfaction. Avant en 2015…16…17, c'etait toujours bon. Mtn 50/50 c'est raté ou réussit…

A great spot for vietnamese food. I really liked the grilled meat with vermicelli, particularly the chicken and beef one. Super juicy, pieces are big and great flavors. Love their PadThai as well ❤? Love their mondays promotion. Buy 1 get the 2nd at -50%
After moving away from NDG a couple of years ago, I found myself looking for a Thai restaurant that satisfied me the same as BKK. I finally made it back, and it did not disappoint. Generous portions for a reasonable price and the flavour is always spot on. Don't hesitate to this restaurant a try!

Une pépite dans le quartier! C'est un peu dispendieux mais la qualité et la fraîcheur sont au rendez-vous. Et on est toujours hyper bien accueilli. A (re)découvrir!
Restaurant was quiet, but romantic atmosphere, welcoming and warm. We were surprised as it was quite busy last time we came. Chef is from Rome and pasta is homemade. They have a huge wheel of Grana Padano for their pasta flambee, if you want something a bit showy for dinner (in our case, for a birthday celebration). We ordered the antipasto plate to start, each took different plates for the meal, a few glasses of wine and 2 desserts to share. Menu is well curated, and feels very authentic. The only downside was the selection of bread they offer at the beginning, some type of dry bun - we would've preffered ciabatta or foccacia, and served warm. Otherwise, we were really stuffed and enjoyed the meal and atmosphere!

Nous sommes allés pour 2 anniversaires. Le service était hyper lent, je crois qu'il manquait de serveur pour la quantité de réservations ce soir là. Nous avons attendu 35 minutes pour recevoir nos cocktails. Nous avons manqué d'eau au point de devoir se lever et prendre le pichet d'eau en arrière sur le comptoir. La serveuse était gentille mais manquait d'expérience assurément. Nous n'avons pas vu de gérant, à moins que la personne qui était en camisol'e blanche ce soir était la responsable, elle ne devrait pas avoir ce rôle. Le rôle d'un gérant est de deloader ou il y a des rush. Jamais elle n'a quitté la passe, elle préférait être sur son téléphone ou jaser avec le bar service. La nourriture était bonne, mais nous avons largement aimé mieux le sésame à saint-bruno. La nourriture devait goûter la même chose, mais ce n'était pas le cas ce soir la. Disons que nous ne reviendrons pas au sésame Boucherville.
sammi & soupe dumpling never disappoint. we always order sweet pork as well as lamb & coriander. one or two dumplings ripped at the base and they leaked but you can just poor the juice into a spoon. the only place to order soup dumplings this delicious

J'ai récemment dîné au restaurant Le Serpent et c'était vraiment délicieux ! J'ai particulièrement apprécié le geste commercial d'une de vos collaboratrices. J'avais commandé un tiramisu que je n'ai pas aimé, et elle a gentiment décidé de l'enlever de mon addition. Quant au magret, il était succulent. Merci encore, je reviendrai ! P.S. : Le restaurant est assez bruyant, donc si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, ce n'est pas l'idéal.
C'est mon restaurant favori, je n'ai que du positif à dire, toujours un bon service, les employés sont super et que dire de mon assiette steak et crevette papillon la meilleure, moi et mon conjoint nous prenons l'assiette terre et mer duo👌🏼
Je ne recommande pas le chai latte il est en sache de camellia sinensis et n'a pas de git malheureusement. Sinon les produits de boulangerie sont bons et la qualité est toujours aussi bonne
Our friends from Ottawa recommended this café to us, and when we came to Montreal, we had to visit. The moment we walked in, we were charmed by how warm and cozy it felt , almost like stepping into a grandmother's home. Everything had a nostalgic touch, especially the sholeh zard I tried , it tasted just like my grandmother's. We truly enjoyed every moment and can't wait to come back!

Update: Went back recently since I had a medical appointment across the street and it was convenient enough I figured I'd try them again. The sourdough still lacked ferment time and they gave me a burnt loaf to boot (a third of the loaf had actual char, not just browning, not just Maillard réaction. They put the burnt end in the bag so I didn't see it until I got home. I'm done. Review from 2024: Bread going downhill. A year or two the sourdough was stellar. Now it's not fermented enough. And for the price it should be done correctly.
