A quintessential Parisian brasserie located in the heart of downtown, Pois Penché is a must for fans of French cuisine. On December 25th, they will be open for brunch and will offer a special Christmas dinner menu for $75 per person. More details on the menu will soon be available. If you want to celebrate Christmas with vegan, organic and super tasty products, Veganation is the perfect choice for you. They offer two packages for 5 to 6 people for the occasion including the following dishes: chicken pâté, meatball stew, tourtière, mashed potatoes for $70 or $99 with Caesar salad (as an appetizer) and gingerbread cookie (as dessert). Just steps away from the Maisonneuve Market, Bagatelle Bistro is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine. A tasting menu for 2 people will be offered at $70 per person. Choose the Bagatelle land or sea plate to share as a starter, 2 main courses among lobster ravioli, roasted duck breast with figs and truffle juice, grilled beef filet or the fish of the moment. Maggie Oakes offers delicious cuts of meat aged on site as well as being able to offer quality vegetarian dishes due to their onsite garden. Maggie Oakes is a wonderful option for your holiday meals. On December 24 and 25, they are offering Christmas classics with a twist. For $90 per person, you can select your favorites from the 4 different courses. It starts with a Christmas soup. It continues with a choice of appetizer between a tuna tataki or an endive and watercress salad. For the main course, butternut squash medallions, crusted arctic char, lamb shank, guinea fowl supreme with roasted chestnuts or 10 oz house-aged striploin. This restaurant located in the Sofitel Hotel, offers you to celebrate Christmas dinner with you on December 24th and 25th as well as the brunch on December 25th. Called "l'Art de Noël", you will be able to taste a 4 course menu for 125$ with the possibility of doing the food and wine pairing for 65$ extra per person. The options are creative and upscale. Among our favorites we recommend the oyster bonbon with sorrel, burnt leek and smoked mussel, the Jerusalem artichoke velouté with hazelnuts and foie gras, the organic soft-boiled egg breaded with thyme flower, the smoked rack of lamb with its liquorice juice and the wonderful chocolate cake by Clément Tilly. 

For $85 per person, on December 25th, a 3-course brunch with appetizers and dessert is offered. Once again, the quality of the ingredients and dishes is remarkable, such as the perfect egg with truffled mushroom cream, the signature pate en croûte or the black cod.

If you're a fan of Persian cuisine, Yas in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce is the perfect place to have your holiday meal. A French institution open for over 48 years, this is a must in Montreal. Discover special menus for lunch and dinner on December 24th and 25th. The lunch menu starts at $70 per person and includes a soup, a choice of appetizer (mussels stuffed with Provençal sauce, vol au vent of snails and wild mushrooms or a plate of smoked salmon, mascarpone cheese, apples and bagel chips), a main course (homemade black pudding, veal kidneys with mustard sauce, leg of lamb from Quebec or veal brains Grenoble style) and a choice of desserts.

The evening menu starts at $129 per person for a soup, appetizer, main course and dessert. Among the appetizer choices are a half dozen oysters on the shell, pike quenelles with nantua sauce and its floret or a duo of trout and smoked salmon. Main course options include a pineau des charentes infused lobster navarin with baby vegetables, sweetbreads or dover sole. A nice choice of desserts to top it all off.
