What a fabulous dining experience. The menu is quite abstract, so it is perfect for any adventurous eaters. The atmosphere was great, it's a really beautiful vibe. What made this place a 5/5 was the outstanding service. Our server Jasmine was a dream; she was knowledgeable, attentive & incredibly kind! Every member of the team that came to our table was just as courteous & gracious as we asked our many questions. Overall an excellent experience. Do yourself a favor & get the carrot cake!!

Excellent wine & food selection.

Must however say that we had a 76$ bill, which we gave 15% tips, yet the bill amounted to 98$... friends who we went with also experienced the same thing so I do question their practices..

I solo travel at least once a year & decided to come to Montreal for the first time over my birthday weekend. My first meal/birthday dinner was at Le Vin Papillon & I can't express what a wonderful experience I had. The mushrooms might be the most incredible dish I've ever tasted (I will likely dream about them) & the ham was equally delightful. I sipped on the Martinez Rose (delicious but very strong- do not order if you're a lightweight). 😂. The staff surprised me with a carrot cake ice cream sandwich & while I don't typically enjoy carrot cake…this was next level.

More importantly, the staff was superb. They were so welcoming & attentive. I'd love to give a special shout out to Flo- thank you for your kindness & for making my birthday dinner so special.

I look forward to coming back with friends & family!

lovely, cozy spot along one of the better restaurant rows in Montreal (Joe Beef, Liverpool House, etc). the outdoor patio is nice but the bar seats seem the most fun spot of all.

as for food, the tuna crudo & sunchokes were quite nice. the fish of the day (trout) was perfectly cooked with a beautiful corn salad underneath. desserts are great, too - especially the tart w/ beautifully-sliced strawberries. just a great dining experience all-around without being pretentious...even down to the table napkins!

Une très belle expérience dans l'ensemble !
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les plats : le jambon recouvert de fromage était excellent, tout comme l'aïoli accompagné de fruits de mer & son houmous à la crevette, un régal. Le vin était également très bon & complétait parfaitement le repas. Seul petit bémol : il manquait un tout petit peu d'ambiance en salle lors de notre passage.
Une très belle adresse où l'on se régale. 4,5/5 !

Excellent food . Small plates allowed us to try several dishes . Some of our favorites were lamb, tuna tartare , mushrooms , tomato tart & tomato ricotta . The carrot cake dessert was very good . Great casual place for dinner .

Restaurant est super mignon & le service est trop bon! Par contre, pour le prix, je ne crois pas que j'ai fais les meilleurs choix en terme de plats. Le boeuf & thon étaient excellents, mais je ne recommande pas le royal aioli, c'était un peu décevant.
