Best soup dumplings in Montreal. Chicken/Curry is a must & so is the pork/cabbage. They're really all good but those are our favorites. They also have a good staple of Chinese dishes that are worth trying.

I've probably tried about over 100 dumplings places across Canada & I have to say this one is now officially my favorite. Ordered via ubereats to my hotel & have to give credits for amazing packing. What flavour! The chicken coriander dumplings - the best! Usually soup dumplings miss either flavour or texture. The qty of soup inside the dumplings was perfect. The seasoning was bang on & cherry on the cake - they looked delish. I have Indian roots so find dumpling seasoning bland sometimes but these ones were just perfecto! Great going Yum Yum! I'll be back to MTRL just for these ❤️

My daughter & I went there last night after exploring Montreal on foot. Both of us love soup dumplings & we decided to go to Yum Yum after reading some of the positive reviews. It's a quaint family restaurant with just a few tables & a light, pleasant atmosphere. As we found out during out stay, the wife manages the open kitchen with support staff, forming fresh dumplings non stop, while the husband manages the guests in a very friendly manner & a level of efficiency & attentiveness I have seldom encountered in other restaurants in general. Upon our arrival, the restaurant was full & we decided to wait for what was to be around 30 minutes. During that time several more people arrived who were told that it would be about 1hr. Over the couple of hours we stayed there, we noticed all of them returning at some point. The menu is extensive, with the entire left page dedicated to soup dumplings. Wow. We ended up trying four different varieties - pork/shrimp/chives, pork/shrimp/mushrooms, chicken/coriander & pork/cabbage. In subtly different ways they were all absolutely delicious. The broth was mild but tasty & their homemade chili crunch oil is an excellent condiment to our taste. We observed other patrons being served a variety of other dishes that looked scrumptious but these comments apply solely to the soup dumplings. My daughter & I agreed that they were among the very best we've eaten anywhere & that our visit to Yum Yum was the first of many to follow.

Unreal! Cheap! Tasty! Everyone here is super friendly Pork & cabbage soup dumplings were my favourites. Chicken & coriander pan fried were also bang bang Seriously YUM :)

God bless the hands of the dumpling chefs, owners, & bubble tea makers! The beef & coriander, chicken curry, & chicken & mushroom soup dumplings were full of flavour & cooked perfectly. Make sure you get some chili oil, soy sauce, & malt vinegar to-go for that extra razzle dazzle!
