Great pizza. Phenomenal. Pricey, but worth it. Just don't come at peak hours. It's super popular, so despite the staff working very hard, it can take a while to get food.Voir plus

C'est un clap de fin, après 1 an à leurs côtés ! Qui de mieux qu'une (ancienne) employée pour vous conseiller Welldun Pizza ! Alors après un an à vous servir des pointes de NY, de grand-mère, de sicilienne & de détroit (& à les manger à raison d'au moins deux fois par semaine 😅) je ne peux que vous les conseiller avec une mention spéciale pour la NY & la Grand-mère Margherita + hot honey 🍯 ! Parce qu'en plus de savoir qu'elles sont excellentes, je sais qu'elles sont faites dans un endroit sain, familial & amical. Dany & Anaïs (les propriétaires) ont créé un bel environnement où l'on a envie de revenir même les vendredis soirs pour des line-up de 3h avec Ismail, Yannick, Martin, Nancy & Oscar 😩😎 ! Alors si une employée (ancienne employée, mais prête à remettre le tablier & la casquette 😎) qui connaît « les secrets de fabrications » & les personnes qui y travaillent, vous dit que vous pouvez vous régaler à Welldun Pizza, c'est que vous pouvez ! This place never disappoints. With every visit we make it keeps getting better & better. The Detroit style vodka bacon pizza just slaps everytime & is my go-to square. The Sicilian-style pepperoni is a really close 2nd with its crispy pep slices. The dough is so pillowy & addictive. You can definitely see the love they put into this place with the quality of the pizza. I highly recommend it!Voir plus

C'est la meilleure pizza du coin sans contredit. Par contre ils doivent absolument trouver une solution pour la ventilation dans cet endroit. La quantité de fumée dans l'air est infernale. L'été ils gardent la porte ouverte & les gens mangent dehors mais je me demande quel sera la solution en hiver... Reste que malgré tout la pizza est tellement bonne qu'on y retourne, quitte à risquer l'asphyxie 😆Voir plus

One of the, if not the, best pizza places in town. Detroit, grandma, sicilian style, & New York all done phenomenally. Hiiiiighly recommend coming to try some delicious styles of pizza that are hard to get around town. Personal favorite are the detroit styles.Voir plus

Ne laissez pas la grande file d'attente vous décourager(normalement c'est même bon signe) car l'attente le vaut vraiment. Nous avons pris la Detroit vodka bacon & c'est une des meilleures pizza que j'ai gouté de toute ma vie. En tout nous avons essayé 4 pointes différentes & elles sont toutes excellentes mais la Vodka Bacon est hors ligue ! Félicitation a vous !Voir plus

I have been looking for the best pizza in Montreal. & this place hands down is the best. My favorite is the New York. Everything is high quality. 2nd is Detroit pesto vodka 3rd Grandma Coming back soon. The cashier is kind & amazing, she was very hospitable, even under a lot of pressure & even while being so busy. Please don't forget to tip them good, they work in the heat, next to an oven all day. I did that job before. Trust me they deserve the tip.Voir plus

Les pizzas sont très délicieuses, excellents ingrédients de haute qualité, & les portions sont très bonnes. Le service est excellent, les gens sont sympathiques. je voulais tout manger mais je reviendrai pour continuer à essayer toutes les pizzas qu'ils ont. Best pizza I've ever had & I've had a lot of pizza!! Every bite was just delicious, even after being rewarmed at home. We tried multiple different pieces & styles & they were all incredible. Truly. What a find this place is. My favourite was the mushroom & pepper pizza. Everything tasted so fresh! The crisp & crunch of the crusts, everything was perfect. Other than the amazing pizzas, the staff was friendly but I felt so bad for them cuz it was like a boiler in there & super smokey, I don't know how they handle that. But they did not show anything other than kind & friendly service. Can't wait to go back again.Voir plus

We arrived about half an hour before they closed & the place was really crowded. I suggest you take your time because there wasn't many options left by the take out turn came. We wanted to order margarita but they ran out, we got 3 Detroit styles which were really good, & a Grand-Mere which was the best dough for us! Best pizza I've ever had in Montreal for sure!Voir plus

Oh myyyyy goodness! As a huge fan of American-Itallian pizza I am always on the hunt for something similar tasting available locally. Until now, the search hasn't been successful... I've tried the other mtl "NY" styled slice shops, & while they are good, they pale in comparison to the "real thing". Welldun is such a gem in MTL! We ordered New York slices as well as Detroit & they were both incredible & very authentic! Perfectly balanced in flavour, acidity, crisp & chew... Beautiful selection, friendly service & very clean. Great first experience & I will most certainly be back! Would be awesome if they introduce a Chicago deep dish as well!Voir plus

Oh my goodness, I honestly did not think I'd survive the hellish furnace that is Welldun Pizza on a sweltering Verdun evening. I waited for over 45 minutes (with my baby in tow), can you believe it, for just 4 pizza slices, that for all intents & purposes should've been ready to just shove in a box & send me out the door with. The working (& waiting) conditions in the restaurant were quite close to unbearable. I would be surprised if the temperature & lack of ventilation were actually legal for the staff working there. While the pizza ovens themselves were vented, the rest of the restaurant did not appear to be, so every time the ovens were opened, the room filled with smoke that just hung in the air. There were two paltry fans for the staff themselves, but nothing at all for the people waiting well over half an hour to even be greeted. I understand from reading other reviews that the family establishment did not expect the heat & ventilation to have been as much of an issue when setting up (are they new to Montreal?), & I respect that making any major changes takes time & money that may well not be available at the moment, but at the very least, could they not have bought a few utilitarian-but-effective fans in the meantime? While the staff were clearly working themselves to the bone, & I will say nothing against anyone doing their best to meet the demand, the actual ordering process & general organisation was poorer than I even thought possible for a pizza slice place. When you finally get to the front of the queue after goodness knows how long, all the pizza you had mentally earmarked to order on your way in had disappeared, & the woman of the front shrugs unapologetically & says "that's just how it goes... if you want to wait another 10 minutes, we may have some more". & bear in mind that these were the only veggie pizzas available - ordering from one of the other multitude of pork-topped slices just wasn't an option. The pizza itself was, thankfully, fantastic. Hence the 2 star review, & not 1. & I hope that the restaurant can iron out these operational challenges. Montreal deserves this great pizza, but I am concerned, seeing the beleaguered looks on the queuing customers' faces, that far fewer will get to try it than should.Voir plus
