Craving a real burger we decided to stop at Wayback's. It was our first time & we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a delightful hostess Erica. She was patient in explaining the menu to us, despite a line up behind us. After placing our order, I was surprised to know that the food would be brought to our table. After a long week, it was a thoughtful gesture. The food came quick & was exactly what we wanted, a real burger. The kids actually finished their meal.
Erica ensured to follow up with us the table to see if everything was to our satisfaction.

REALLY good burgers. New to Quebec…Way back is way better than the fast food joints (or restos with burgers on their menus). Beef if cooked from fresh, not frozen. Option for a lettuce wrap muchly appreciated. Fries must be crispy in my books & theirs were perfect (no old oil taste some well done fries have). Owner super friendly. Highly recommend - will definitely go again!

Went in with no expectations, came out a lot less hungry & super happy about my choice of burger spot!!
Hamburgers were very tasty, not at all dry & plenty flavorful. Cajun tots were lovely & well seasoned. I would definitely go back & recommend!!
You can't beat the price anywhere else!
Nice presentation, good taste, superb service, clean & spacious establishments.
We had the veggie patty burgers, poutine, & chocolate milkshakes. Soft drink refills are unlimited.

Nice burger place with great service!
Looking to have a great burger it's a nice place to go
Only downside is your paying for what you get.
But honestly 50$ for 2 parents & a child vs 30$ at McDonald's
I'd spend the 20$ extra

Nestled between a two well-known chains on St Charles north of the 40 is this fabulous burger restaurant. Food was amazing, fresh & Quebec sourced; milk shakes were excellent, optionally served without whipped cream!
Service was friendly & prompt. Clean restrooms.inviting retro vibe.
I know my burgers, take it from me, 2 out of 5 stars (I'm being generous after all it's Christmas!) It was my first time ever eating WaybackBurgers. $24 for a double with bacon no cheese fries & coke. The burger itself was dry, the meat was not juicy & the bacon was rubbery & also dry. The fries look & taste exactly like Harvey's fries. I have a feeling the chicken is better than beef in this so-called burger join.
