REALLY good burgers. New to Quebec…Way back is way better than the fast food joints (or restos with burgers on their menus). Beef if cooked from fresh, not frozen. Option for a lettuce wrap muchly appreciated. Fries must be crispy in my books & theirs were perfect (no old oil taste some well done fries have). Owner super friendly. Highly recommend - will definitely go again!

Nestled between a two well-known chains on St Charles north of the 40 is this fabulous burger restaurant. Food was amazing, fresh & Quebec sourced; milk shakes were excellent, optionally served without whipped cream!

Service was friendly & prompt. Clean restrooms.inviting retro vibe.

Highly recommend!

I went to Wayback burger for the first time 2 days ago. I went with my daughter, nieces & brother-in-law. Best. Experience. Ever. I told the lady, behind the counter, that it was our first time there & she explained everything so well. The food was phenomenal (burgers cooked fresh & never frozen). My nieces are pretty picky but had no problems devouring the burgers. I had asked for kiddie size milkshakes -they only had one size but the lady suggested that she could make it & divide it into smaller cups. WOW! At one point, I was having a hard time with my ketchup bottle & from behind the counter, someone saw me & came to me with a new bottle. What service! We have definitely found our new favourite burger place!

Customer service is top-notch. The owner is very kind. I learned today that the beef is from local Montreal farms & their dairy comes from the Saguenay. Extremely clean. Food is fast casual, not fast food, meaning it's made to order & it is always fresh. The fries are amazing & the burgers also. They also do catering which I did for a small company lunch & it was ready for just as we arrived so everything was still hot.

Heard nothing but amazing things, had to come try it for myself. From the moment we walked in & got greeted kindly to finishing the last bite of chilli cheese fries was amazing. This place always & only uses fresh Halal beef which you can truly taste the quality. Once you go to Wayback you will be back.

Came here for the first time today after grabbing a starbucks drink, saw theve been established since'91.
Decided to try it out.
I can honestly say it was the best burger me & my boyfriend have ever had. They made everything with care & it was super hot & fresh. The employees were wonderful & really seemed to care about the buisness & their clients. They took the time to explain & tell us about their buisness & menu :)
VERY HAPPY with everything & everyone. Thank you wayback burgers ! We will be back!
