VUI, where traditional Vietnamese cuisine meets a modern twist. Our recipes are inspired by the flavors of Vietnamese street food passed down from previous generations and discovered during our many travels. VUI stands out with its modern and bold approach. Come discover us in a warm, authentic, relaxed, and festive atmosphere that will transport you to the bustling streets of Vietnam.
Reviews consistently highlight Vui Cuisine Viet et Bar as a stylish, welcoming spot with fresh, flavorful Vietnamese dishes and very generous portions, especially the pho, beef rib dishes, and crispy spring rolls, along with a strong drink program and appealing cocktails. The atmosphere is described as modern and visually impressive, with decorative touches that wow first-time visitors, though tables can be close and the space can get noisy on busy nights. Service is often praised for friendliness, attentiveness, and professional warmth, with many noting quick and efficient dining experiences, while a few visits report slow kitchen times, understaffing, or inconsistent pacing that affected timing between courses. Price is seen as reasonable for the quality and portions by many, though some mention higher prices and online ordering issues that led to food arriving cold or services delayed. The restaurant is frequently recommended as one of the best Vietnamese spots in the Montreal area, a place to go for celebrations or casual meals alike, and numerous guests say they plan to return to explore more dishes and cocktails.
Sort of mix feeling. Are the food no good, not really. Are the food bad, not really neither. Just feel strange from the Vietnamese cuisine point of view, they are not original. The main Pho is not on bar as the real Vietnamese restaurant, too much oil & not much selection! Anyway, the food are not bad but not worth for the price.
This Vietnamese spot elevates familiar street dishes into something polished & upscale, & the prices reflect that. The Ph? & Bún Bò Hu? were solid, added an extra beef rib to a premium bowl. The razor clams were a standout. The Bò Né, a classic sizzling beef?&?egg breakfast, was decent but the sauce leaned a bit too sweet. The Ube Cà Phê S?a ?á is an absolute must?try.

Really good Vietnamese Restaurant in Dix30 with delicious food. Service could be a little bit better as we noticed it took a while to get water refills, our bill, etc.
This is absolutely the best Vietnamese pho spot I've tried in Montreal! The place is so gorgeous that your mood lifts the second you walk in.
Order a lunch set & you get a free spring roll, plus you can enjoy a beer for just five dollars!
My top personal recommendation is the grilled squid - you won't find this light, chewy, & deliciously savory flavor anywhere else. & seriously, make sure to dip it in the creamy wasabi sauce… it's amazing!
100% going back. Totally, totally recommend!

Amazing, authentic & delicious Vietnamese cuisine!
The food is incredibly fresh & full of flavor, & the drinks are just as impressive - from the classic cà phê s?a ?á to their cocktails. The service is impeccable: professional, warm & welcoming. Always a wonderful experience!
We had an amazing experience at this Vietnamese restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. But what truly made our visit special was the service. Georges, the bartender, was incredible, friendly, attentive, & made us feel so welcome that we came back the next day! He went above & beyond to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic food & exceptional service.
The staff is very nice & friendly. The food was very good, & the portions were generous. I recommend the Vietnamese beef carpaccio, it was mouth watering! Leave room for dessert! The fried ice cream is a MUST!! Delicious! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the ambiance. It felt a bit cold & too'cafeteria' like for me. I will still go back for the food!

I can't count the amount of times my parents & I have eaten here. It's an absolute gem!!
Shoutout to Jaden who always makes my parents feel at home whenever they come!
The food is excellent, probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal.
I highly recommend E V E R Y T H I N G on the menu!!!!!
If you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine with warm, welcoming service, this place is an absolute gem. Every dish I tried was bursting with fresh flavors - from the perfectly balanced pho to the deliciously crispy spring rolls. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, & the recipes are made with care & tradition.
The staff went above & beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Friendly, attentive, & genuinely passionate about the food they serve.
Whether you're new to Vietnamese food or a longtime fan, this spot is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back!

I asked vietnamese friend at work, polo, to recommend the best pho in montreal & this is the place he said without the slightest hesitation. He also highly recommended Columbia but that's for another conversation lol 😆 ...
Everything about this palace of deliciousness was awesome. From the bathroom design & immaculate cleanliness... a place this clean will not doubt have great food 😋 ...
I wasn't sure to get the one is all the meats plus a short rib OMG or the spicy one. I choose the steak specialty & asked for some samba olek on the side 😉 ... You can see by the photos this is an EXTRA ordinary soup. You must go try it & let me know when you do. We can compare superlatives about it's savouriness & velvety texture ... a must visit.

Very delicious & elevated Vietnamese cuisine with great service & atmosphere. Our favourite dishes are the Imperial Rolls (which we've been told is made using a special wrap imported from Vietnam), the Mango Salad, the Papaya Salad, the Grilled Chicken & Shrimp Bún, the Mixed Grill Platter & the Ph? Vui Special. Very happy & proud to have another amazing Vietnamese restaurant in the Greater Montreal Area.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant! I love the coconut coffee & bún bò Hu?. They have a large selection on the menu, & the service is super friendly & fast. I hope they open a restaurant on the Island of Montreal!
The food was very tasty , & the prices were reasonable, though slightly high on some dishes. The service was good as well. It's a great option if you're looking for Vietnamese food while strolling around Dix 30.
