Excellente soirée avec un personnel très gentil & professionnel (malgré un long moment d'attente à notre arrivée). Superbe ambiance des Fêtes, les sushis étaient WOW ! Mais la morue beaucoup trop cuite. Autrement, nous recommandons, c'était vraiment super.

I came here for a group work dinner. The menu was necessarily restricted, however the steak & frites was excellent, the peppery dauce with it was just right & tbe service was attentive. The atmosphere was good, very noisy but still quiet enough that i could have a conversation without difficulty.

In Montreal for vacation & chose Vargas for our dinner the first night. They had just reopened & have a new menu. We shared the ahi tuna tartare, my husband ordered filet with shrimp & scalloped potatoes for his sides & I had the salmon wellington. Every bite was delicious, perfectly cooked & properly seasoned. I wish we had room for dessert. Our server Roberto was great. Highly recommend Vargas!

This will be my one & only time at Vargas, sorry to say. The vibe was nice staff polite but the food was very bland, the tomahawk steak was absolutely disgusting. I have never paid so much for terrible food in my life. If a 160$ steak was that bad then i am afraid to say anything cheaper would be any better.

the entire place stinks of meat! no smiles to be found on any worker's face & the energy of the servers/hostess was just off... the sushi however was DELIGHTFUL! the fish was fresh & the portions were satisfying.

C était vraiment excellent & Délicieux ... un accueil chaleureux, une table près des fenêtres , notre fabuleux & super attentionné serveur M, Roberto est vraiment à son affaire... tout était parfait 👌... nous y sommes allés ce vendredi soir & nous avons déjà très hâte d y retourner, nous, nous sommes régalé avec tout, tout , tout! This is my second time visiting here. The first time, we had a less than stellar experience as one of our party's streak was first under cooked, then over cooked. While they did take it off the bill, it was disappointing. This visit, however, they knocked it out of the park! All of our steaks were perfectly cooked. The sides were absolutely delicious. The wine selection was huge. Our server was extremely attentive but not intrusive. One of our party ordered the sushi platter & it looked incredible. He said that it was delicious as well.

Had a nice meal, steak was tasty & sushi was well prepared. Our server, Pascal, was awesome! Very friendly, great recommendations, & just a really cool guy. The restaurant is undergoing renovations to make it look more modern, which will help with the atmosphere. All in all, we had a great time & the food was very good.

Restaurant haut de gamme, très propre, bon service, cuisine bonne avec assiete belle & fournit, mais salle bruyante avec musique un peu forte, les clients parlent donc fort. Pas adapté poir des enfants même si le personnel s'adapte. Mais on recommande.
