The vegan ramen was good, but not great. The layout & decor is creative. Absolutely loved it
My husband & I went here for supper on a Friday around 5 p.m. & took a chance without a reservation. The servers were amazing & kindly offered us a couple of table options right away. We were very lucky to have a table as they were quite booked up. If you want a guaranteed spot, reserve ahead!
The atmosphere is really cool, with fun décor & a great vibe that isn't too loud. We ended up taking a few photos. The staff were incredibly friendly & knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was absolutely delicious. We both had ramen & started with karaage. I had the lychee cocktail, which was fantastic, & my husband had a Sapporo beer.
Overall, it was a perfect unplanned date night. Great food, excellent service, & a fun ambiance. I'd highly recommend this place.
Fun, beautiful ramen shop with delicious ramen & sake. Great service! I highly recommend you check this out.
L'ambiance de restaurant est vraiment fun, le service était très rapide & la nourriture est excellente. C'est même pas cher! J'y retournerais n'importe quand.
Je recommande de réserver!
Ambiance super, service courtois & rapide & les ramens étaient incroyablement délicieux
Stumbled on Tsukuyomi Ramen by luck & so glad I did. Perfect ramen for a cold winter day. Delicious food, friendly service, & a fun vibe.
Excellently prepared Japanese classics, friendly service & - especially in the context of Montreal - affordable prices. Well situated & cozy. Will definitely return!
Prix honnête, plat de riz & poulet frit manque un peu d'assaisonnement, musique, ambiance & décor superbe, propreté place à amélioration, le service est très bien.
Solid food with a great ambiance. We ordered the gyoza, octopus appetizer & several bowls of ramen. All delicious!
Un bel endroit chaleureux. Le service est agréable & la nourriture aussi!
The reason why I didn't give 5 starts is because they completely forgot to put the egg in my Ramen 😭
It was ordered via Uber eats.
Otherwise, the food is delicious.
Bad experience. The waiter forced us to have starters & the main dish Ramen at the same time. I explained to him that we would like to have the starters first & then the Ramen. He just wouldn't do it & try to give me some weird explanations. Attitude. If you like this restaurant I highly recommend you go to their other location like the one in Mile End.
Very unique & cute ambiance. The food was great, & so was the dry sake.
After coming back from our honeymoon in Japan, my wife & I started noticing a painful pattern. Every ramen place we tried felt like a messy remix of a beloved classic, the kind where the original melody is there somewhere, but it's buried under auto tune, unnecessary bass drops, & one guy yelling his producer tag every ten seconds. Technically ramen, spiritually off key.
Funny thing is, we had actually been to Tsukuyomi Ramen before our trip. We liked it at the time, but we didn't quite understand how good it really was. Then we went to Japan, got spoiled silly, came home, & bounced from one disappointing bowl to another. By the time we circled back to Tsukuyomi, we were honestly scared that it would disappoint us too. Nothing hits quite like the fear of discovering your old favorite was only good before you knew better.
So we went back to Tsukuyomi anyway, hoping for the best & bracing for heartbreak.
The bowls landed, my wife took one sip, & she delivered the verdict we'd been chasing.'Japan good.'
Not Canada good, not almost there, not good in a nostalgic way. Actually Japan good. The broth has real depth, the noodles have the right bite, & the entire bowl finally matched the harmony we remembered from the ramen shops we visited on our trip.
& as a bonus, they are also the only spot we have found in Montreal with actually good Yuzu beer. Not a knockoff citrus beer pretending to be fancy, but the real crisp refreshing deal that pairs perfectly with a proper bowl.
It turns out Tsukuyomi had been the real deal all along. We just needed the round trip to appreciate it.
If you have been mourning the loss of proper ramen since coming back from Japan, this place is the one that finally hits the right chords. For us, it was like rediscovering a favorite record & realizing it always sounded better than the remixes.
