Japanese Ramen restaurant. Specializes in Fukuoka style Tonkotsu Ramen. Home made creamy Tonkotsu broth, organic, totally Non-MSG. Also serves some small side dishes and Japanese beer.
Overall, reviews describe Tsukuyomi Ramen as a visually striking, cozy space with Japan-inspired decor and a lively vibe that many find engaging, though a few note it can be noisy or busy; the staff are repeatedly praised for friendly, knowledgeable service and speedy attention, with reservations recommended during peak times. The ramen earns widespread praise for depth of flavor, well-balanced broths, and generous portions, especially tonkotsu and miso varieties, while some bowls are described as excellent and others as good but with room for improvement, such as noodles or the egg in certain dishes or the vegan ramen not meeting expectations. Appetizers like gyoza and karaage are commonly liked, and the beer or sake offerings are highlighted as a nice pairing, with the location noted for value and consistency compared with similar spots in Montreal. A few reviews mention changes or inconsistencies over time, or preferences for certain bowls over others, but the overall sentiment is that Tsukuyomi Ramen provides an authentic feel and is a standout option for ramen in the area, with plans to return.
Easily the best ramen in Montreal. It reminds me a lot of the flavorful ramen I had many times in Tokyo.
The yuzu nanban chicken is crispy & slightly spicy, but the sourness refreshes your taste.
The tonkotsu ramen, oh heaven, is so flavorful. The texture of the broth is both creamy & clear! The pork is in good portion, & amazingly doesn't have the smelly pig smell that many ramen shops in Montreal have that really turns people off. Truly well done!
Japanese night out with a friend to talk travel-& fuel up right!
I went for the Tonkotsu Ramen: rich homemade creamy pork bone broth with thin noodles, chashu, green onion, kikurage, egg, & nori.
She chose the Maze Men: cold brothless noodles topped with salad, tomato, crispy onions, a poached egg, & tender chicken.
Comfort food, great company, & future adventures on the menu!

Overall good food but some minor issues. Chicken broth is lean, a little shame for the ramen. Fried chicken is well fried but not marinated, had to eat with the sauce:( Chashu is very good though!
A japanese jewel in downtown! We tried it once & we couldn't stop ourselves from becoming a regular. It tastes fresh & flavorful, & the presentation of the dish is on point. You can take an appetizer & a small rice (with braised pork or deep-fried chicken) for lunch & it will be more than enough at a fair price. Service is also warm & kind. This is your place to go if you're craving good-quality ramen or rice for a good price.
I wish they had more options with chicken & vegetarian. The vegan ramen options were too good. I am sure the ones with pork broth would be great as well. Worth a try!
I found the place by chance & was drawn in immediately by the unusual angular walls that greet you in the entrance. While small, this place had the best atmosphere of any ramen shop I've been to; if you're lucky, you can get a seat at the second-floor bar overlooking the street. We were seated at a table on the second floor by the friendly staff, & we ordered a bowl of karaage fried chicken with rice, a bowl of original chashu tonkotsu ramen, & a bowl of chicken tonkotsu ramen. The food amazed each of us. The tonkotsu broth was so creamy & flavorful, & the green onions made it smell so much better. The meat for both the pork & the chicken was tender & delicious, & the noodles filled me up. We finished up the night with a celebratory round of cold sake shots. Much appreciation again to the warm & excellent staff making our evening fun & exceptionally pleasant.

I got the chicken donburi & it was the best I have ever had. Husband got the chicken tonkotsu spicy. He was able to add more spice as the sauce was on the side. He raved about the broth. The server was so polite & nice. He gave us drink recomendation which was super helpful. We would definitely come back. Finally a good place to eat!!
Wonderful environment, got the vibes of being an anime themed restaurant. The Karaage chicken was the best! Had to visit each day of my trip to Monteral! The servers are kind & friendly, & were able to help me with ordering in english
Extremely tasty food ! Would come again ! They made a mistake by giving me pork instead of chicken in my soup. Honestly i didn't mind, but they were the first to acknowledge it, & they later gave me the chicken. They even gave me a small discount to account for the delay. Couldn't ask for more, i recommend ! Pictured are the octopus balls.
Tried Tsukuyomi Ramen for dinner The interior is soooo cool. I was in love with the colors & ambiance We tried many items & everything was delicious. The ramen was so good. I added eggs & they were just delicious. They have many options. You need to try the gyoza & fried chicken bites. They also have very tasty hot Sake. Im so in love with this place ! Highly recommended They use high quality ingredients. Very Friendly staff. Fast service & affordable prices! Follow @ayahayek_ for more on instagram

Overated & overpriced even though if the food is alright. The menu is pretty limited. If you don't eat pork then you should know that the only sauce you can have with chicken or tofu is vegan sauce.
I'll start with the food, We got their signature ramen with choice of chicken which half of it was cooked well & the other not (so it was like chewing on rubber) which ruined the experience, the sashimi salmon was fine. The waitress recommended the opposite to what we explained we would like. & finally, the seat! It's old wooden without cushions & a splinter in it ribbed & ruined my favorite leggings! The ambient is fine. The only reason I gave 2 🌟 is because of the cool interior decor, that's it! I wouldn't come to this place again, ever!
I have dined there 3 times. I brought 6 people the first time. 2 people the second time & again yesterday. They were clients & friends. I am very disappointed & will not return. One of the diners did not like the ramen soup & requested chicken instead of pork. You charged us-even though she said she had asked for chicken in the first place. Bad mistake. You lost many customers. I wish you good luck but that is BAD business. Susana Stroll
We took the chicken ramen, the chicken did not taste fresh & the broth didn't have much taste. I'm definitely not coming back. The only nice thing is the decor. Not worth it at all!
The decor is fun, there is seating on both the main & upper level.
Food was quite delicious, tasty, & fresh. We had the salmon sashimi which is thick cut with wasabi, the fried calamari, the regular chicken ramen & the vegan ramen. Water jugs are left on the table.
A slight note for service, we were never checked in on to see if we wanted another round of drinks.
