Review Summary

Tsujiri Montreal is widely recognized as a premier destination for high-quality, authentic matcha, offering an extensive menu of lattes, ice cream, and intricately crafted parfaits that appeal to dedicated green tea enthusiasts. Visitors frequently praise the rich, balanced flavors of both their sweet and savory offerings, including ramen and noodle dishes, noting that the atmosphere often evokes a calming, Japanese-inspired experience. While many guests appreciate the availability of seating, free wifi, and charging outlets, others find the space can become quite noisy, crowded, and occasionally inconsistent in service or cleanliness. Opinions on pricing are mixed, as some patrons find the premium cost justified by the quality, while others suggest portions or ingredient ratios, such as the amount of jelly in parfaits, could be improved for better value.

Quick & delicious. Noodles were fresh & cooked perfectly. Great drinks also if you're a matcha fan.

Very tasty, but I wish you could sit outside. The inside is a bit disappointing, at least in the area I was sitting.

I typically solely focus on the food, but I do have to give the cafe its props for the great atmosphere & kind staff. As for the food, I would not recommend any of the noodle dishes especially their udon since I find them bland. However, in my opinion, it is typical for Japanese cuisine to be light. Their lattes & desserts remain delectable considering their expertise in that field.

It's really amazing how comparable the experience is to similar shops in Japan, although noisier. I don't know if it's the room or patrons, maybe both. I particularly like going with my kids for desserts.

Quality matcha for delicate taste. I've been here a lot over the years & that says something. I really loved their cakes as it's not too sweet & creamy. I liked eating their cold noodles on a hot day in summer. Although, their drinks might be a bit sweet for some people (for example below, Hojicha milk tea blended), but I liked the level of sweetness. It might be hard to talk as the ambience can be a bit loud due to the blender blending loudly or people chatting. Overall, recommended coming here on dates, studying, or chatting with friends. It has that calming Japan feel.

The place decor is nice, it got a separated area for drinks & food. They are specialized in matcha drinks/ ice cream. I took the regular matcha ice cream parfait, but I found the taste too bitter! The combination of the things inside does not work well together. I don't know, left disappointed mainly because of the too much bitter taste of matcha.

The dessert parfait is delicious, I could really taste the matcha well & it is not very sweet. However, the matcha latte was watered down a lot in my opinion.

Beautiful cafe with great pastries, ice cream & matcha! The service felt a bit bland & cold, but otherwise lovely cafe.
