We were directed to Tsak Tsak from a local bartender who was adamant that this was the place to go. He said it was run by lovely people from Madagascar & that their food was very well done especially breakfast. His recommendation did not disappoint. The folks there were absolutely charming & the food was equally as memorable. Some of the best poached egg dishes I've had. Their house made hot sauce was bright & full do heat. Don't sleep on the soursop juice, it's delicious. It was so good it was the only repeat restaurant on our trip to Montreal.

Incroyablement délicieux! Avocats mûrs, patates croustillantes & une salade stupéfiante. Rien à dire. Service amical qui fait chaud au coeur. La gentille dame s'assurait de tout nos besoins :). J'y retournerai définitivement
my girlfriend & i came here yesterday for a late brunch after fabergé was closed & it was so wonderful! all of the food was made in house -- down to the mayo -- & it was truly delicious. we both got the breakfast place (glouton) -- comes with everything you'd want on a breakfast plate plus a salad. good coffee as well, & gluten free options :) we definitely underestimated this place when we first saw it online but we will be back!

Excellent endroit pour bruncher ou dîner (& souper?). Service toujours accueillant. Plats savoureux & santé. Endroit indiqué pour les rencontres avec des amis. Proprios sympathiques. Situé à deux pas du métro Laurier. Près de l'intersection Laurier & boul. St-Laurent, dans le Mile-End. Je vous le recommande!
The atmosphere is very nice.
The food wasn't very fresh… honestly I was little disappointed with the Benedict eggs… the English muffin wasn't very fresh. Also the fruits on the salad weren't very fresh.
Repas excellent, découverte de la cuisine malgache avec du boeuf au gingenbre, nem & sambos... tout était délicieux, aromatisé & parfait. Belle terasse & service des plus accueillant, je dirais même VIP. J'avais déjà goûter à leur excellent déjeuner... le souper m'a permis de voyager un peu avec plaisirs gustatifs. Merci!
Superbe surprise. Tout est fait maison. Les salades sont excellentes & rafraîchissantes. Les smoothie délicieux. Une très bonne halte avant de magasiner dans Mile End
Great restaurant with a variety of choices for brunch & dinner. They have a special menu for traditional Madagascar dishes. Very authentic & delicious! We ordered the beef & porc & were very pleased. We also got the passion fruit juice & it was so refreshing. Nice waiter, good decor inside & an outdoor terrace (on a noisier street) would definitely come back!
Perfect brinch place. The saumon chic is delicious & an incredible value for the price. Try the lemonade & put a couple dabs of their hot sauce on your dish.
