I'm from out of town & was looking for some good Jamaican food. But, I found this Trini spot & decided to try it. The food was decent. Oxtail was too sweet for my liking. It's just not what I'm used to. I guess that's how Trini people cook their oxtail. The flavor was good, though. Also, I had the curry goat roti. This was a bit disappointing in the sense that there were no bones. I've never had de-boned curry goat before. But again, the flavor was good. Overall, the food was good & the service was definitely on par!View more

Fantastic food every time. The roti is cooked perfectly. The doubles are my favorite. It's hard to get good doubles outside of Trinidad & Toronto. Montreal doesn't really have many options. A lot of places microwave their frozen doubles & serve it to you. You can tell it's made fresh.
To the person that had a review with'These people aren't even Jamaican, they're Indian!' yea &? ever hear of Indo-Caribbean people in Trinidad & Guyana. They didn't claim to be a Jamaican restaurant, it's just a Caribbean restaurant. Jamaican people aren't the only people to make Caribbean food.
