Amazing food, cheap & big portions. Oxtail is a must try.

Had the oxtail at Tropical Paradise & it was excellent - truly fall-off-the-bone tender & full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, the portion size was generous, & the service was incredibly fast. I barely had time to sit down before the food came out. On top of that, the staff were really friendly & welcoming. Solid spot if you're looking for great Caribbean comfort food in Montreal. I'll definitely be back.

I'm from out of town & was looking for some good Jamaican food. But, I found this Trini spot & decided to try it. The food was decent. Oxtail was too sweet for my liking. It's just not what I'm used to. I guess that's how Trini people cook their oxtail. The flavor was good, though. Also, I had the curry goat roti. This was a bit disappointing in the sense that there were no bones. I've never had de-boned curry goat before. But again, the flavor was good. Overall, the food was good & the service was definitely on par!

Best hot sauce in Montreal! Delicious roti, jerk, & doubles! Someday, I will try the oxtail stew & the breadfruit roti. But when I walk through that door, all I'm ever thinking is, "goat roti with LOTS of that magic orange sauce!"

I always take the oxtail or chicken stew, my boyfriend takes the jerk chicken. The flavors are incredible & the portions are generous, all at a reasonable price. Can't ask for more.

the sign says you can have the oxtail with or without bone so when i asked for it boneless the man told me it already came like that... what do i see when i get home ? a mediocre amount of meat with HUMONGOUS bones for 25$! amazing !! i mean it's fine if that's how you serve it but maybe i would've picked something else ? also the meat & rice was not tasty at all & i'm not a picky eater should i also mentioned that the guy at the cash literally wouldn't tell me the size of the doubles & directed me to the picture as if it was a proper example. rude, expensive & misleading
