Had the oxtail at Tropical Paradise & it was excellent - truly fall-off-the-bone tender & full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, the portion size was generous, & the service was incredibly fast. I barely had time to sit down before the food came out. On top of that, the staff were really friendly & welcoming. Solid spot if you're looking for great Caribbean comfort food in Montreal. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic food every time. The roti is cooked perfectly. The doubles are my favorite. It's hard to get good doubles outside of Trinidad & Toronto. Montreal doesn't really have many options. A lot of places microwave their frozen doubles & serve it to you. You can tell it's made fresh.

To the person that had a review with'These people aren't even Jamaican, they're Indian!' yea &? ever hear of Indo-Caribbean people in Trinidad & Guyana. They didn't claim to be a Jamaican restaurant, it's just a Caribbean restaurant. Jamaican people aren't the only people to make Caribbean food.

Definitely one of my favorite places to get Caribbean food.

I recently had the pleasure of dinning at this restaurant, & was blown away by the expectational cleanliness & authentic cuisine. The freshness & quality of the ingredients shone through in every dish.The overall expectation was superb & I highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. The owner was so kind & welcoming making the experience even more special.

I ordered plain rotis at this restaurant, & it exceeded my expectations! The roti was freshly made, with a perfect texture that was smooth & soft. It was generously sized, hot, & served just the right way. The best part? It felt light & healthy, making it the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Definitely a must-try for anyone who appreciates simple, quality food! Excellent service, guys! Keep the great work going!

Great little Jamaican restaurant. Been around many years , the couple that owns it a nice friendly people. Place is exceptionally clean .food is like home made food , & you get a very generous plate for what you pay. Everything is always fresh as its cooked daily.

Wow,their Jerk chicken Rice is amazing.Really fresh & well cooked tender chicken with well cooked rice with jerk sauce,its excellent! Money well spent for the quantity & quality.Recommend this place to anyone who love Caribbean food or wants to try.

Fresh & delicious food! I have never tasted the hummus any better! Staff is really courteous & welcoming. The portion sizes are decent & the staff doesn’t shy from adding an extra thing or two.

Best Doubles in the city.

There Roti is good as well. Though the service is slow...like most West Indian places.

I've had the Jerk chicken there a couple of times..when it is fresh its not bad ...I think the owner is from trinadad...stick to the triny stuff.
