I had an amazing experience at Trattoria Gio.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, authentic, & inviting. A big shoutout to server, Emmie who was incredibly welcoming, attentive, & genuinely made me feel at home.

The food was outstanding. Chef Dali truly knows what he's doing. The Penna Alla Gigi he recommended was exceptional - perfectly balanced flavours, rich yet not overwhelming, & clearly made with care & expertise.

Overall, everything about this place: the food, the service, & the atmosphere was top-tier. The staff really elevated the entire experience & made it a solid 5-star visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Italian experience.

Expérience exceptionnelle ! La cuisine est incroyable & pleine de saveurs. BIG respect au chef Dali, très talentueux & passionné. Michael, le propriétaire, est aussi extrêmement sympathique & accueillant. Service impeccable, ambiance parfaite. Je recommande fortement ! 👌

I went here on a Sunday night with my girlfriend & the atmosphere was what I wanted for dinner, calm setting a quite tucked place. I'm sure during peak hours it has to be busy cause the food was excellent. cudos to DALI(the chef) knows how to present a plate & empower it with flavor, & Michael( the owner) amazing guy wants the best for every person & I highly recommend everyone going to old Montreal & experience what we have cause if I lived near here I'd be here every night with the vibes they bring!! Amazing!! We ordered the rigatoni ( parmesan cream with chicken) & linguine ( olive oil & garlic with herbs) & let me tell you, your gonna want seconds because it was delicious, I highly recommend trying it you want a good classic pasta spot

It was our last day in Montreal & we are so glad we chose this Resteraunt. There was a delightful, charming waitress who we got chatting too. I think it was Maria just finished studying graphic design.
(sorry if I got that wrong). The food was delicious & the atmosphere good. A guitarist on the square serenade us while we soaked up the atmosphere. Thanks to the chef & staff for a memorable meal.

Mid, wife enjoyed herself, however it might have been residual high from there being a ben & jerry's store across the road.

Meatballs were agreed upon unanimously by my wife & I, it was chef boyardee, which is a vibe, which my wife subscribes to.

Sausage penne was mid, lacking heavily in the sausage department.

It's a meal that didn't give us food poisoning.

5/10 definition of meh.

Also, the owner clapping back at these reviews is utter tea time, I'm here for it

Tres bon service & chapeau bas à la nouvelle chef Anna Sophia qui cuisine incroyablement bien vous ne serez pas déçu ! 😍😍
Idée de plats à essayer : fettucini Alfredo au poulet(crémeux à souhait ! ) & arancini (boulette de risotto champignon & mozzarella plein de goût ! )
