I asked my coffee to go & they gave it to me sur place. Besides the cafe was not even full & they were way behind on the orders. The barista was sneezing a lot over the coffees she was making at the time ( disgusting) Also they over charge for a simple latte . This place is overrated. There are better coffee places indeed & at least the price is worthy. Good music at the site.

Pour la première fois depuis plus d'un mois, de retour d'un long séjour à Paris, je me suis arrêté dans un café du centre-ville de Montréal pour déguster un cortado & un cornet au Nutella (J'espérais avoir un scone, mais sa popularité est peut-être en déclin à cause de l'augmentation générale des prix des denrées alimentaires.).
C'était en fait ma deuxième visite au magasin. La dernière fois, c'était en décembre, pour un déjeuner rapide avant un rendez-vous à l'ambassade du Japon. Ce jour-là, j'ai eu la chance d'être assis à côté d'un visiteur de l'Ontario & de discuter avec lui, ce qui n'arrive pas souvent.
Ce jour-là, j'ai mangé un panini au fromage de chèvre accompagné d'une soupe à la tomate, un repas plutôt réconfortant. Les conversations informelles & l'ambiance positive m'ont laissé un excellent souvenir de cette visite. C'est peut-être ce qui explique pourquoi j'ai choisi le même café du centre-ville cette fois-ci.
Bien que je n'aie pas eu l'occasion de discuter avec un voyageur lors de ma dernière visite, j'ai tout de même beaucoup apprécié ce café, notamment le cortado (appelé noisette en France) & le cornet au Nutella qui, à ma grande surprise, avait la texture d'un scone. Tout est bien qui finit bien !
Le Tommy Café sur McGill est un vrai petit bijou. L'endroit est magnifique, avec une déco élégante, des plantes partout, & une ambiance à la fois chill & trendy. Parfait pour travailler, jaser entre amis ou simplement savourer un bon café.
J'ai pris un latte - délicieux, bien balancé & servi avec soin. Le personnel est accueillant & souriant, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Un incontournable à Montréal pour les amateurs de bons cafés dans un cadre esthétique.

Je trouvais qu'il n'y avait pas beaucoup de choix à la carte de désaltérants froid, j'ai donc opté pour un smoothie à la mangue qui était malheureusement bien trop sucré. Jolie café néanmoins, très bien décoré & bonnes dispositions des espaces de restaurations.
Nice corner in downtown this café is located. Good service. Vibe is nice. My latte is excellent. Avocado toast is good too. The big downside is the price is over expensive. A total rip off. An avocado toast for 20$??? Seriously? It is better to make my own toast at home.
J'adore le café de chez Tommy, mais quand j'ai demandé un Petit latte 5$ on m'a dit qu'ils avaient seulement les formats Médium 5,50$. Sachant que j'avais demandé mes choses pour les déguster sur place, je ne comprend pas pourquoi je ne pouvais avoir mon latte Petit à 5$. Retirez le de votre menu si vous ne pouvez pas l'offrir. Merci.

Tommy Cafe is such a gem! The carrot cake was absolutely delicious & fluffy - so fresh & perfectly sweet. The brownie was rich, chocolatey, & super yummy. & the lattes were just perfect! The whole vibe of the place was so calm & chill, making it ideal for catching up with my friend. We could just relax & chat, & it felt like hanging out at home. The cozy ambiance, paired with a lovely view, made it a memorable visit. I'd totally recommend Tommy Cafe for anyone looking for a cozy spot with amazing treats!💚💚
I judge a Tommy Cafe by how well they prepare the Lox (avocado toast with salmon, & I add an egg). Based on that metric, this one passes. It was good, but I would've liked more onions, capers, & seasoning. Bread held when picked up. Points on presentation. Non-Lox: staff is friendly, but not personable like I've experienced at other cafes, including other Tommy's. Service time was reasonable. Space has some seating, not a lot; tables were shared between different parties. Decor has some charm;'still far from Old MTL OG. My only real gripe with the Tommy spawns: no cold brew or iced coffee (Iced Americano isn't the same... it's warm-to-lukewarm watery coffee with rapidly melting ice). Why do they do this to the gays? Tsk, tsk...

Cute cafe with a good space to sit down & study/work. Very tasty pistachio croissant. No waiting service though, you should move everything yourself from counter to table. Not that it's bad, just thought I should mention.
Bel endroit, cependant, très rapidement rempli (ce n'est pas un très grand café) par les étudiants. Les assiettes sont divinement bien préparées. J'ajoute aussi que c'est un peu dispendieux (j'ai acheté une boisson, un panini pour un total de près de 40$).
