Stumbled upon the cage while looking for late brunch in Montreal. The service was fun & warm. We ended up joking with multiple servers who were also very serious about hospitality. The Athena avocado toast was fantastic, & the atmosphere was lovely & cozy. Felt like being back in a little French bistro in Paris.
We ate here with our kids, ages 10. 7, & 4. Great atmosphere, cozy feel, super friendly & accommodating staff, delicious food. We all shared & loved: grilled cheese, tomato soup, smoked salmon bagel, eggs on toast with hollandaise & avocado, potatoes, side salads, smoothie of the day, & mimosas. It was all super yummy & we devoured everything so fast. We had to order a second batch of potatoes because our kids loved them so much. Thanks!
I had a great experience at Tommy Cafe! The atmosphere was warm & cozy, perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or enjoying a casual meal with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, & made sure everything was just right.

Great breakfast! The food was delicious. The ambience is cozy & big shout out to Sarah for her service! We went twice during our trip & both times we had a great time.

The ambiance is charming with a distinct retro vibe, creating a cozy & inviting atmosphere. Service was exceptional, & the staff was very accommodating to non-French speakers, making communication a breeze. The food was fantastic! The menu creatively utilizes ciabatta bread in a variety of dishes, adding a unique touch. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast croissant, which featured an authentic French taste & was further enhanced by the addition of a perfectly cooked egg. We also tried the lox & stellina, & appreciated the inclusion of salmon rolls alongside the lox. Overall, Tommy's Cafe is a highly recommended breakfast destination in Montreal.
Cozy coffee with tasty food, good coffee & quick service. The ingredients are fresh & flavorful. The presentation of the dishes is very different to the other Tommy Cafés & that is cool. Also the available coffee & drinks are good. Service is good but nothing extraordinary.
The food & the breakfast coffees/teas were to die for at Tommy Cafe! We waited about 5 minutes for a seat; the turnover time was incredible & efficient. Food was scrumptious, but my sisters said their tea & coffee were unbelievable! It's a tight space, but incredibly cozy & comfortable. Team members were so great & fast. We were so impressed by this spot.

Cozy place for brunch - our first visit & choose this by googling for a breakfast place. No regrets! the food was amazing & you can tell it was made with passion. We had the Suzy Rise & Melted down. Coffee was fresh & delicious! Service was average not issue with us because they were super busy on a Saturday - it was crazy! Would recommend to anyone!
I got a latte & a croissant to go before we left the city. The shop is so cute & cozy, & the coffee & pastry were delicious. I don't speak French so was slightly nervous about traveling to Montreal from the customer perspective - but I had to mention that everyone here was SO sweet & welcoming while I ordered & waited despite the cafe being busy.
Very nice & super cozy. It's a great place for breakfast & brunch with a lot of vegetarian options. The service was very friendly & patient with us. Would definitely recommend
