Tommy Café ressort comme un spot de brunch prisé, lumineux et cosy, avec une décoration soignée et une ambiance chaleureuse qui crée une expérience agréable pour des matinées ou des après-midi entre amis ou en famille. La carte offre une grande variété de plats généreux et bien présentés, du avocado toast et des eggs Benedict aux options grecques ou shakshuka, accompagnés d'un café souvent apprécié pour sa qualité; les portions sont généreuses et le rapport qualité-prix est jugé correct par beaucoup. Le service est globalement sympathique et attentif, mais peut devenir lent lorsque l établissement est très fréquenté, et certains estiment que ce manque de fluidité nuit à l'expérience. Des témoignages mettent en avant l énergie du lieu et le cadre attractif proche du vieux port, mais d'autres remarquent des occasions où certains plats ne répondent pas exactement aux attentes ou des tarifs plus élevés. Vraiment bon, le bénédictine au truffle était excellent. Les patates déjeuners qui vienne avec sont parmi les meilleurs que j'ai mangé dans une place de déjeuner & font différentes aussi. Par contre, je peux pas dire que j'ai trippé sur le latté bleu glacé, c'était très doux niveau goût, au point que ça goûtait pas grand chose en fait. Le latté à la lavande était très bon par contre.
After more than 1 year going for the eggs Benedict & asking always for gluten free bread….. In February 2026 they tell me that there is wheat flour in the hollandaise sauce…..& it always have been like that!!! What a disgrace!! they tell me now???
I will stop coming

We came for brunch around 9:30am. There was a short 2 min wait as the table cleared. We ordered drinks & the s'mores waffle, Greek omelet, & an eggs Benedict. The portions were generously large, food tasted great. Service was a wee bit slow but still attentive. Would come back!
Breakfast was phenomenal! Place had a live atmosphere. The food was tremendous douse. Truffle Benedict was delicious & the side salad was a nice great touch with just a perfect drizzle of balsamic.
Great breakfaat/brunch cafe. The prices are a bit high but the plates are good. I ordered the truffle eggs benedict & it was filling & tasty. You can tell they use alot of nature ingredients for their foods. The potatoes on the side by the way were excellent. I usually prefer crunchy potatoes but the way they seasoned them & cooked them to where they have a shape but easily turn into mashed potatoes once you eat it was amazing! They have another location around the block. I recommend if in the area & looking for a brunch spot.
Listen, their sense of urgency was top notch. Nothing I love more than people who move fast. Waiters were hustling. Weekends will be a lil busy so we waited 15 mins before we got seated but the food came RIGHT away. The chai was so so so good. Chugged the chai. Great eggs Benedict.

This place has a lovely vibe. The owner is energetic & very kind, & the food is yummy. I had the truffle Benedict, I subbed the bacon for smoked salmon - I love eggs, Benedict & this was a nice version of it. My partner had the Shakshuka royale, which was so good. Make sure to ask about dietary restrictions - we were told all ingredients were listed, although I'm not sure if that was the case for the Shaksuka, pretty sure there was dairy despite it not being listed, my partner did get an upset stomach afterwards. On the bright side, they were very much enjoying the meal during! This platter was clearly very special & popular.

L'accueil a été chaleureux & le service vraiment agréable du début à la fin. Mention spéciale pour le personnel, attentionné & souriant.
& que dire du plat ? J'ai opté pour la Bénédicte à la truffe : un vrai délice ! C'est généreux, parfaitement équilibré, avec une dose de truffe bien maîtrisée. Le pain est tout simplement exceptionnel.
Une adresse à ne pas manquer, j'y reviendrai sans hésiter !

Had satuarday morning brunch in Sept in this little Cafe in old Montreal, apparently part of a chain of cafes in Montreal, this particular one was very busy with great upbeat ambience & lot of plants all around & good energetic background music that reminds me of Tony Robbins events, We ordered the Truffle Benedict, which is a egg benedict with truffle hollandaise sauce,, & Emma, which is a grilled cheese with tomato soup, We also ordered 2 Lucky Tommy Latte, which had lucky charm cheerios in them, & I thoroughly enjoyed it ( it's basically like having breakfast cereal with whipped cream & coffee at the same time, extremely efficient lol) A negative is that the food takes really long time to come out when they are busy, so if you are in a hurry this might not be a good choice for you. Will definitely recommend if you are staying in Old Montreal for brunch, it would start your day in a great way👍

fell in love with this place on our last trip to Montreal! amazing almond croissant & the eggs benedict was wow, loved their avocado on fresh bread, will be our go to when we are back. Staff were so friendly, great coffee with macadamia nut milk. good vegan options! amazing!
Le cadre était cool. La jeune serveuse était souriante & très sympa. Les oeufs Bénédicte étaient bien savoureux sauf les pommes de terres qui étaient un peu trop brûlées.
Amazing brunch, love their benedict, the bread is just right, not too hard, if you don't like crispy bread, this is a must go brunch place. The benedict sauce is the best part, we ordered one downtown bene, one truffle bene, both of them are tasting perfect. Our server is very nice, always smiling, so much better than other restaurants! Highly recommend!! 👍
