Loved our breakfast at the Tommy Café. Food was really inventive, modern & most importantly delicious. We had two types of the avocado toast & my son had the pancakes. Everyone loved everything. Seating is eclectic so you grab what you can find, but I don't feel like you have to wait long as most people are in & out so tables become available fairly quickly. We started at bar type stools but quickly switched to a table for all 4 of us. I definitely recommend as either a breakfast or lunch spot while exploring old town & Notre Dame. We went back for a 2nd meal!

We were Montreal for 3 days & came here every day for breakfast. Dirty chai is a must! I had the tuna salad, the salmon bagel & tuna toast & all were delicious & portions huge. Loved it!

The best breakfast I've had in Montreal.

We took our family of four here for breakfast. Two kids two adults. I am an extremely healthy eater & a vegetarian whereas the rest of my family is not.

Finding a restaurant that offers both healthy options & classic breakfast options was wonderful.

We'll start with the kids. They both ordered the pancakes that came with berries on top & they were more than happy.

I, my husband ordered a coffee as well as An omelet with hashbrowns. I suppose I shouldn't call them hashbrowns. They were some sort of delicious fluffy potato thing way better than hashbrowns.

I ordered a cappuccino with soy milk along with a quinoa & veggie bowl. Being able to have quinoa & veg for breakfast made me so unbelievably happy. It set the tone for my whole day.

The servers were lovely, even though they were so busy they didn't forget our table. The atmosphere is really cool. We had no problem getting a table. Everything was great.

We even ordered a chocolate croissant at the end for all of us to take a taste of, & it was so flaky. The dough was perfectly laminated. It was yum.

We will be back for sure!

We had breakfast here & unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant experience. The high chair for babies hasn't been cleaned or wiped in years & had food stuck on it everywhere. We had to clean it thoroughly ourselves since we did not want to get our child sick. We ordered pancakes & the cali Benedict. The pancakes were tough & hard & just not fluffy. The eggs in the Benedict were not poached, & instead the yolk was boiled. Overall a sub-par experience.

Came here for breakfast on a weekday & we were so glad we got a table. The staff was amazing & the decor felt very eccentric. All the food tasted delicious & I especially loved the lavender latte. Highly recommend visiting Tommy Café!

Lovely spot for an early breakfast in old Montreal - warm atmosphere, delicious food, our server Elle was very informed about my celiac dietary restriction's impact on the menu's offerings & even provided some recommendations for other gluten-free eats to check out during our stay in the city! I must add that the lavender latte was absolutely delectable. :)

What a charming place we chose for breakfast. The food was delicious & the portions are large, too much for us British who prefer a light breakfast so I would recommend one to share. The atmosphere is great & very unique well worth a visit
