To Dinette Viet, c’est le nouveau spot gourmand de la Plaza : une cantine vietnamienne moderne qui célèbre le street food vietnamienne, les saveurs locales et une atmosphère chaleureuse où l’on se sent immédiatement chez soi. Des plats réconfortants, une équipe accueillante et une énergie qui fait vibrer le quartier.
Les avis décrivent Tô Dînette Viet comme une petite adresse intime vietnamienne, avec un menu restreint mais des plats authentiques et savoureux à bon rapport qualité-prix, notamment les ailes de poulet Cánh Gà, le Bún Riêu, le Bò Né et les Bánh Cuốn, servis en portions généreuses. L'atmosphère est vivante et accueillante, le personnel sympathique et les réservations recommandées en raison de l'espace réduit; les expériences varient toutefois avec des temps d'attente parfois longs, des plats épuisés et une musique parfois trop forte. I really wanted to go here & saved it in my list . Me & my friends came from far to support the restaurant . We skip working. Check on Google the restaurant is open . We come on Tuesday at noon . & when we arrived then it closes & they put on the door the opening hour difference with on google ( Monday & Tuesday they only open from 5pm )- so it's not an unexpected closing for them ) . We called the restaurant but no one picked up the phone . We are very disappointed. Please make it clear about this . We parked the cars even though it's difficult. Paid for 2 hours thinking of enjoying the foods soon. I always put 5* for restaurants- never put 4* for any restaurant. But this time I change to 3* . You know it's important to have review on google then put the opening time exactly for the clients . It's Montreal .
Delicious food & cool street food vibe in the middle of Plaza St Hubert. Menu may be limited but any choice is delicious & abundant.
We ordered 2 appetizers : Bánh tôm (4 pcs of double shrimp on sweet potato matchsticks) & Canh Gà 👍👍👍 (suoer savory chicken wings). We were already stuffed !
For our main courses, we had : Th?t Rim M?m S? (braised pork, fried egg, & rice) &
Bò Né (sizzling lemongrass beef & homemade beef/pork paté, fried egg, & rice. To tip the scale, we finished with their
Cà phê s?a ?á (Vietnamese iced coffee).
A fantastic foodie adventure & definitely worth a visit ! Gotta return for their Banh Cuon & Bún Riêu soup !
I truly love the food here, from the beautiful presentation to the deeply authentic flavors in every dish. This was actually the first restaurant I visited after landing from my trip to Mexico, & it was the perfect meal to come back to. After traveling, it felt so comforting to enjoy such fresh & flavorful Vietnamese food.
All the dishes here are simply outstanding. Each bowl & plate tastes carefully prepared, balanced, & comforting-just like the food from Vietnam.
What makes this place even more special is that the chef Galaxy is Vietnamese & cooks with a genuine passion for authentic cuisine. You can truly feel that dedication in the flavors, the ingredients, & the attention to detail in every dish. It's rare to find a restaurant that stays so true to traditional Vietnamese cooking while also presenting the food so beautifully.

For me, discovering a place that captures the real taste of Vietnamese brings so much joy. Every visit feels warm & familiar, almost like sitting down for a homemade meal. The gentle & peaceful décor, inspired by a simple hometown atmosphere, makes the experience even more comforting & relaxing.
I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic flavors & heartfelt cooking.
What a gem of a place & the same goes for the people that make it so! Authentic, humble, cozy, welcoming. It's one of those places you walk into out of curiosity & end up forgetting where you are on the world map completely. & it's totally fine that you keep ordering food & drink just to have a reason to stay there because it's so affordable! I dare you to go try the chicken wings & not get a second or third serving of it with a nice cold Tsingtao.

Incredible place with incredible food! It's worth the visit. Everything is freshly handmade to order & I saw the craftmanship when I saw a sneak peak of the kitchen.
Staff is super friendly & they will take the time to answer your questions. I'll definitely come back :)
