I had my first visit at Tissy's Bistro with my sister today.
The food was fantastic- I ordered green curry, shares a papaya salad & veggie spring rolls with my sister. Prices were fair, service was quick & friendly.
Unfortunately they did not have many vegan options (the menu says'vegetarian friendly' but many options had fish sauce) so my sister that does not eat egg nor fish. She had a pad Thai & it was okay, but having a curry vegan option would be great!
The food is consistently good. The papaya salad is my fave! I tried the Penang curry today & it was good - I'd order it again. Spring rolls are great! Pad Thai is good but a little dry. I had to add extra lime to loosen it up a bit (noodles were very clumped & stuck together) The downside is that portions are too small for the price. I asked for medium spicy but nothing was spicy at all. I'll try the spiciest option next time. Unfortunately the Tom yum soup wasn't sour or spicy at all (it was creamy & sweet) so I wouldn't order that again. I ordered the tom kha kai soup before & enjoyed that more than the Tom yum.

The most authentic tasting Thai food I've had since Thailand. Mango salad, shrimp pad Thai & green curry so delicious! Don't forget the spring rolls
Don't take very spicy if you can't handle it. Better just add chili flakes on the side & add as needed imo
I'm Thai & I wouldn't order Thai food from anywhere else. Tissy makes the best authentic Thai food! It makes me feel like home 🇹🇭 We have been ordering vegetarian Pad Thai, papaya salad, spring rolls & sticky rice every Friday for months from Tissy's. Highly recommended! Please note that due to shortage of kitchen staff, ordering your food ahead of time is a great idea to reduce your waiting time :)
My son wants to try all different kinds of food. He loves to learn about different cultures & their food. We decided to try tissy & it did not disappoint. We both LOVED it. We had the shrimp pad Thai, the spring rolls, green curry & mango sticky rice it was all delicious. Even more amazing is the staff, those ladies made it feel like home! We will definitely be going back. A must try for the West Island.

All the food was amazing! & I really want to emphasize the amazing! We had the tom yum, pad ka prow, pad see ew & the spring rolls & everything was great. You will not be disappointed here!
Amazing meal for takeout ! Shrimp pad Thai, pork basilic, papaya salad, veggie spring rolls. Everything full of flavour, cooked perfectly, & the owner/employees are so friendly! Good vibes !

Place is very clean, service is quite rapid. Dining room is small but cozy, decor may be slightly subpar in some ways but honestly I don't care because the food is fantastic, easily best spring rolls I've ever had, the pad thai is a winner, & the thai iced tea is just great. Super satisfied with my meal/experience at tissy's & hope to come back soon
Best thai food I’ve ever had!!! Tissy the chef & all the staff were super nice & welcoming which was another great point! We tried the chicken pad thai, a soup & the spring rolls & they were all amazingly deliciousssss!!! Tasted homemade & so so fresh!!! 🤩🤩🤩 definitely recommend this place & definitely will go there again!!! Thank you so much Tissy for the great food & personality also for the amazing experience.
