Good pizza & pasta.
Good service with italian & japanese mixed themed.
An alright atmosphere if the table were not close to each other for privacy.

Service is great. Friendly but not too much. Efficient & always there when you need something. What stood out was the food. The branzino was amazing & so were the pasta, the tuna tataki & carpaccio we had. I was somewhat reluctant to see Italian with a Japanese twist but the chef really knows what he's doing. You can taste the quality & freshness of the ingredients. Two thumbs up. Cocktails were good. The wine list is not very long but our waiter found something that paired well with our dishes. Despite going there on a busy Friday night, the noise level was pretty low. You can have a conversation without raising your voice. Would I go back? Yes. In a heartbeat. I had previously tried their pizza. It's really good too. Perfect for a quick bite.

My husband & I went for New Year's Eve. We sat at the bar. The bartender/waiter was great. We ordered the special menu, all the plates were great, the mamma mortadella pizza was fantastic. The only plate we didn't enjoy was the tiramisu dessert, I'm Italian & that was NOT tiramisu… other than that everything else was great & would definitely recommend :)

Tiramisu in Montreal offers a warm & inviting atmosphere with friendly service & a menu that captures the essence of Italian cuisine. My dining experience was enjoyable overall-the savory dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, & thoughtfully presented. However, given the restaurant's name, I had high expectations for the tiramisu, & unfortunately, it didn't quite meet the mark. While the texture was decent, the flavors lacked the richness & balance that make tiramisu a standout dessert. It could use a more pronounced coffee taste & creamier mascarpone to truly shine. That said, the experience was still pleasant, & I'd be happy to return for the main courses. With a bit of work on their signature dessert, Tiramisu could easily become a top choice for Italian food lovers in Montreal.

This is one of my favourite Italian restaurant & is surprising considering that it is a fusion restaurant with also Japanese cuisine. Pizza is one of the best I had in the city, dough, ingredients & portion, all at a really good price. Pasta also seemed like a safe choice, the Caesar salad had a great sauce & just slightly grilled enough to give it a tasty smoky flavour, meal finished with the tiramisu that you can't miss.

Nice location with very chic decor. Offered a menu of Italian food such as pizza & pasta. We ordered the charcuterie plate & 2 pizzas. Overall good experience.

I was pretty disappointed by the food, it's supposed to be Italian-Japanese fusion, but I found it mostly Italian, with some subtle notes of Japanese, & everything tasted watered down. The meatballs were poor, too tender, lacking depth in a tomato sauce that was muted. I had their al ragu pasta, the noodles themselves were rustic & gummy, with the ragu sauce having a subtle hint of traditional Japanese curry, but it was overall tasteless, & it wasn't a lot of food, considering it was pasta. I enjoyed the tiramisu, the restaurant holds true to its name, & it's a decent portion. Though the ladyfingers in the middle were a little soggy. It really feels like this restaurant cuts corners on everything, & charges extra on top.

This is supposed to be a fusion of Italian & Japanese cuisines. I would re- describe it as Italian food with a touch of Japanese flavors. Smaller portion sizes. The drinks were delicious, particularly the coco mango. I had the tartare sushi arancini, listed as appetizer but can be filling if you are not super hungry.

I went for brunch & although it's a nice place & the atmosphere is cozy, I'm not sure I'd go back.

The food, while good, is nothing crazy. It's a good mix of Italian & Japanese but the flavors need to be more daring & bold. They were able to modify my dish since I don't eat meat, which was very nice.

Also, what really surprised me about this place was the mimosa deal. They had a $30 promotion for bottomless mimosas so of course we grabbed it (it wasn't on the menu but on instagram, we had to ask the waiter). Once you get your first bottle you have two hours to drink, past the two hours THEY REMOVE THE BOTTLE (even if it still has alcohol in it) from your table. Maybe this is a common thing now in restaurants, but I had never seen it before & I find it weird & stressful. Of course I asked what they do with the bottles that are still half full (as I said, they take the bottle regardless of how much is left) & the answer was that they use it to serve individual mimosas.... While I am all in for not wasting anything I find it unhygienic for restaurants to do this. You don't know who has touched that bottle, if someone sticks their finger in the hole or whatever & they serve other people with a bottle that has been used & touched by previous customers? Of course you don't.

In a nutshell, a nice place with potential, but too average for the price & definitely don't order individual mimosas.

I’ve never given 5 stars for every category of criteria on Google before but this restaurant really deserves it. Everything about this establishment is great. From the food to the service & the atmosphere. Let’s start with the food, the il classico pizza is fantastic, the branzino my wife had was very, very good according to her & the tiramisu dessert was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. Originally, I didn’t think I would enjoy the tiramisu because it contains some Japanese whiskey but it wasn’t even detectable after the first bite. My wife is Italian & we’ve lived in Italy for 15 years & my favorite dessert is tiramisu & I’ve always compared the tiramisu in restaurants to hers & this was just as good if not even slightly better. The pizza too was like you get in Naples, Italy, so very good. We’re here in Montreal for 3 nights & we will definitely be going back to Tiramisu (restaurant) again. Can highly recommend this place. Oh, as for the service, Melissa was great. Very attentive to our needs & very friendly. Everything 5 stars. Don’t hesitate in going to Tiramisu!

My experience at Tiramisu turned out to be perfect!
I mean under normal circumstances I feel like my family & I were just had a very unlucky night, but the manager, Andy, made our experience very special.

I'll explain...

First we had made our reservations online for 3pm, but when we arrived the hostess kindly told us there must have been a mistake because the kitchen closes at 3pm & reopens at 5pm. It was a little inconvenient, but it actually turned out really well because we got to do a little extra sight-seeing & it made my Mother's birthday extra special:) When we came back at 5pm, a new hostess seated us at one of the booths at the back (I would strongly recommend sitting over there because the ambience is absolutely amazing!!! The restaurant has a beautiful vintage (70s-vibe) decor which we could really appreciate from that section.

So, as an appetizer we ordered the beef tartare & grilled octopus. My family was amazed by the texture of the octopus, & the tomato confit was spot-on, but honestly my favourite was the beef tartare!!! I mean the tartare was accompanied with these delicious deep-fried ginger-flavoured rice balls with fior di latte cheese inside & topped with a miso aioli! When I say they were amazing, I mean they were absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g. They really captured the Japanese-Italian fusion! I would have bought the dish again just for the the rice balls🙂

For our main course we ended up ordering one al ragu, one al tartufe & one piccante. I was the one who ordered the al ragu, but unfortunately I just didn't like it...I found the sauce was too watery, I would have liked to it is purred & topped with meat chunks because sauce was too liquids & I found the taste a little bland. But I understand it is probably just a personal preference. What I really appreciated was when Andy saw our table he was very accommodating & genuinely nice about the whole situation. He kindly asked me what I wanted instead, & the al tartufe was everything I wasn't in a pasta...it was creamy, well-seasoned & very flavourful:) I couldn't have need more pleased!

Finally, for dessert we really wanted to get the tiramisu (I mean how can you not get tiramisu at tiramisu) but unfortunately the waiter told us they ran out of tiramisu...the irony was the highlight of our night-but it really made it special. Instead they put a sparkler on tiramisu ice-cream & gave us some shots for my Mother's birthday! All of our experiences at Tiramisu made our night unforgettable (in a good way) & I think we will be back soon!!:)

Issues arise in any restaurant, but it's the way the staff deals with them...that's what makes the restaurant really good. The staff at Tiramisu were really friendly, & super accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was an unforgettable night & one that really made my Mother's Day special. Thank you so much, we appreciate everything:)

The drink menu was very eclectic as well as the dinner menu. A fusion of Italian & Chinese as there was miso in a lot of the dinner items. Having a soy allergy it was challenging but there were items on the menu that I could have. WONDERFUL tiramisu dessert (as one would hope as it shares the name of the restaurant). A cozy spot so be sure to make a reservation online!

Friendly service, average food. Expected more Japanese influences, likely won't return, there are better Italian places all over Montreal.

I went with a girl friend, ordered Tuna Tataki & Endive salads as starters. They were ok, borderline a bit disappointed as the salad had bitter after taste & the tuna was lacking flavor.
We had the Duck pizza & Carbonara pasta. They were both good, the pasta texture was just cooked right, not too salty. It is a new flavor to have Pékin roast duck on a pizza, & it paired up well with their in-house habanero sauce.
The wine list offers great choices for bottles or glasses. I enjoyed my Pinot Grigio very much, & reasonable priced.

Finally, I gave a 4 stars because our waitress saved the experience as she did ask our feedback about the starters, & we expressed our disappointment. She was attentive & listened to our comments. It was very well appreciated given how hard it is to hire staff right now. It's a nice Happy Hour place, but I would say I had better Italian fusion dinner elsewhere.

Awesome service, food was magnificent, great environment, not too busy but very trendy, I would say this is the best spot in chinatown, I loved the fusion of Japanese & Italian food flavors.

We loved our night at Tiramisu! Le ambiance & the decor is astonishing - I've never seen so much marble in one location. The attention to details by the owners is also impressive - the melting candles, the italian statue with japanese-style tattoes, the grenery, etc. The staff was extremely attentive - we followed their recommendations for cocktails (Garibaldi), wine by the glass (both natural wine), & had the sushi-arancini & tartare, olive/fennel salad, margarita pizza & the mortadelle pizza to go. All delicious! We highly recommend & will be back soon!
