Efficient & always there when you need something. What stood out was the food. The branzino was amazing & so were the pasta, the tuna tataki & carpaccio we had. I was somewhat reluctant to see Italian with a Japanese twist but the chef really knows what he's doing. You can taste the quality & freshness of the ingredients. Two thumbs up. Cocktails were good. The wine list is not very long but our waiter found something that paired well with our dishes. Despite going there on a busy Friday night, the noise level was pretty low. You can have a conversation without raising your voice. Would I go back? Yes. In a heartbeat. I had previously tried their pizza. It's really good too. Perfect for a quick bite.
Ordered online. There was quite a delay until I called but the food is outstanding. They made up for the delay & corrected it right away. Fantastic service after a small hiccup.
Good service, delicious food. We shared the karaage cauliflower, the burrata & the polpette, everything was delicious! We also shared the duck. It was a little less tender than we were hoping for but the incredible flavors left us nonetheless satisfied with the dish. Very happy with our experience!
My husband & I went for New Year's Eve. We sat at the bar. The bartender/waiter was great. We ordered the special menu, all the plates were great, the mamma mortadella pizza was fantastic. The only plate we didn't enjoy was the tiramisu dessert, I'm Italian & that was NOT tiramisu… other than that everything else was great & would definitely recommend :)
Food was decent but service was great! It seemed to have only one server available & she noticed our food was taking long so they comped our dessert! :)
Nous avons dîner un soir dans ce restaurant & avons choisi des cocktails sans alcool (trop bons !) & des pizzas super appétissantes ! Personnel accueillant & gentil. Merci !
Tiramisu in Montreal offers a warm & inviting atmosphere with friendly service & a menu that captures the essence of Italian cuisine. My dining experience was enjoyable overall-the savory dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, & thoughtfully presented. However, given the restaurant's name, I had high expectations for the tiramisu, & unfortunately, it didn't quite meet the mark. While the texture was decent, the flavors lacked the richness & balance that make tiramisu a standout dessert. It could use a more pronounced coffee taste & creamier mascarpone to truly shine. That said, the experience was still pleasant, & I'd be happy to return for the main courses. With a bit of work on their signature dessert, Tiramisu could easily become a top choice for Italian food lovers in Montreal.
This is one of my favourite Italian restaurant & is surprising considering that it is a fusion restaurant with also Japanese cuisine. Pizza is one of the best I had in the city, dough, ingredients & portion, all at a really good price. Pasta also seemed like a safe choice, the Caesar salad had a great sauce & just slightly grilled enough to give it a tasty smoky flavour, meal finished with the tiramisu that you can't miss.
Nous avons reçu un excellent service & nous avons passé une très belle soirée. L'assiette de charcuteries était bien garnie, la pizza aux quatre fromages était délicieuse & le tiramisu était excellent. Un grand merci à Simon pour le service attentionné.
Overall a very nice experience, good food & service. The mushroom truffle pizza was exceptional & the beef carpaccio was delicious. Very interesting fusion of flavours which worked perfectly except in the caccio e pepe. Unfortunately the sauce felt clumpy & the miso didn't add to it. Highchair available for baby, but do note there is no children's menu.
Le restaurant est vraiment beau & bien située au porte du centre-ville de Montréal. La fusion japonaise/italienne est très intéressante! Nous avons pris l'accord vin avec le MTL à table & c'était très avantageux!
Nothing like a pizza in a Japanese bar to discuss life's big questions... like which slice to eat first & how to dodge election stress!
Staff are friendly but we waited 45mins for the food, the restaurant was not even busy. Food was 6/10, nothing really good.
Food was on the point, I liked my tiramisu latte. It was a cold day so I was hoping to have something warm but both were room temperature. (The fault is on me though), if you prefer hot dish like me, I would say check with server while ordering. It's a nice spot to hang out with friends too.
