My partners pizza was very dry & my duck carbonara was bland. There was a peppery taste but the duck was dry bits of chewy meat. I've tasted better dog treats! The place was noisy too & we were at a table very close to a table of 6 women whose conversation got louder as they became more drunk.
Avis tres mitigé, personnel sympa mais la nourriture n'est pas top. Nous étions un groupe, le restaurant est très joli.
Le personnel est très gentil & amical, cependant l'attente est très longue. 1h15 d'attente après avoir commandé nos plats, tout ça pour des plats fade, sans goût, les pizzas étaient sèches & difficiles à couper, Les pâtes étaient crémeuses mais il n'y avait pas vraiment de goût non plus. Une pizza surgelée a plus de saveurs.
Un point qui nous a surpris est le nombre de shots d'alcool offerts aux clients, le serveur avait également oublié un des verres de la commande & est revenu 40 minutes après avec, ce verre devait donc être gratuit, mais il avait oublié de l'enlever de la facture au moment de payer, c'est à ce moment qu'il a sorti son portefeuille perso de sa poche pour rendre le montant en cash, du jamais vu…
Le restaurant est sympa pour l'ambiance, la décoration & le staff gentil, mais pas pour la nourriture. Je vous conseille de juste aller boire un verre là bas.

We came to Tiamo on a weekend & it was pretty busy, the atmosphere was pretty nice. We ordered the soup of the day as an appetizer, & got a beet soup. It was pretty good, & the croutons added some nice texture. For mains we ordered the Burrata pizza & the Cavatelli Al Ragu. The Burrata pizza was very good, the burrata was very fresh & creamy. The Cavatelli Al Ragu on the other hand was a little too salty & the pasta was a bit too hard. We sent it back & got another one but it had the same problem. However the service was amazing & they even offered us dessert on the house. We got the Tiramisu & the Cannoli which were both very delicious. The service was great & they were very understanding. We would definitely come back.
Très bon restaurant que j'ai pu découvrir plusieurs fois durant mon séjour. J'y ai goûté plusieurs pizza & pâtes, tout était très bon & de bonne qualité. Merci aux serveurs pour leurs conseils.
La barmaid Amanda est également très pro & gentille avec un service de qualité. Les cocktails sont très bons.

I was a bit disappointed with the pizza I had. The dough was very salty, & the sauce was tasty, however the crust to sauce ratio was horrendous. I felt it needed more sauce on the pizza or the dough needed to be spread more. Some slices had a tiny crust, & some slices seemed to be 30-40% crust. The service is really good & very kind. The atmosphere is beautiful & it's a very pleasant restaurant only sad the pizza was not so great as the restaurant looks. A far cry from the days it was Moleskine.
I went to Tiamo on a date with my partner & we had such a great experience overall. The food was absolutely amazing - everything tasted fresh & full of flavor. We shared a burrata to start, then had a Margherita pizza & the Medaglioni Florentine (which was insanely good), & finished with a fresh cannoli for dessert. We also each had a refreshing lemonade, & the total came to $122 tip included, which felt reasonable for the quality.
One thing to keep in mind is that they use a wood-fired oven for the pizza, which gives it that delicious, slightly smoky flavor - but your clothes might smell a bit like smoke afterward.
The only small downside was that we waited quite a while for the food, but honestly, it was worth it once everything arrived.
Overall, a really nice spot for a date with high-quality, authentic-tasting food. I would definitely go back!

We visited Tiamo on a weekday evening. Our first impression was positive. The hostess was welcoming & proactive in finding us a table despite our spontaneous visit.
However, service was quite slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes before seeing our server, which felt unusually long & had us considering leaving. Fortunately, we were attended to shortly after.
We ordered the Italian sausage pizza & the Mediterranean pizza. The dough was well-made & met expectations, but the overall experience was mixed. One pizza was enjoyable, while the other was let down by a canned-tasting tomato sauce that lacked depth & flavor.
The ambiance & decor are beautiful, though the space is quite small with tables placed close together. In the evening, the music was fairly loud although still manageable for conversation, but not ideal. The staff interactions felt somewhat robotic & transactional, which took away from the overall experience.
Overall, I likely wouldn't return for dinner, but I'd consider giving it another try during the afternoon. So who would I bring to Tiamo? A casual friend.

Sofiane is the best chef & he makes the best pizza in montreal by far
The burrata pizza is one of the best if not the best i've ever eaten
The pasta was delicious
& the bri fondant entree was delicious as well
service was impeccable
The food was good at tiamos, specifically the pizza & the atmosphere was cool but I was hardly able to view anything at all as we were sat at a window bar seat looking out to the street with an uncomfortable heater underneath. I understand it was busy but I did make a reservation & asked not to sit at a bar top which it practically was.
I was very disappointed with the service on top of this. We were greeted not very welcomingly & had around 3 different servers who weren't concerned about how we were enjoying our food. Overall, wouldn't return because of the service.
L'hotesse à la réception ne parle pas français: j'ai dit bonjour & annoncé le nom de la réservation en premier, elle m'a répondue en anglais & a poursuivie avec l'anglais jusqu'à notre table. C'est un manque de respect.
La serveuse nous a servi gentiement & poliement en français.
La nourriture est'correcte' mais pour le prix (200$ pour 4 services) c'est plutôt ordinaire: crevettes trop cuites & sèches, la salade était sèche & sans saveur (3 gouttes de balsamiques). Le seul plat qui se démarquait était le brie fondant sur la pâte à pizza (délicieuse).
Pour le menu St-Valentin (obligatoire le 14) on devait payer à l'avance au moment de réserver avec le pourboire (20%!) automatiquement inclus!! Je me demande à quel point cela est légal. Jamais vécu cela dans aucun restaurant même les plus raffinés, au Québec.
The service was great & friendly overall but the food was lacklustre & expensive for what it was. I ordered a carbonara that had no yolk & barely Parmesan cheese. I was able to save it mid-meal by asking for more Parmesan. Overall very underwhelming unfortunately. The pizzas looked good. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish that night?
We had to wait 1 hour for the food to come. I had the duck carbonara & a four cheese pizza. The portion to price ratio was laughable. I could understand if at least the quality would match the price, but no. The food was really bland. No salt at all,I felt like I could find more flavorful italien food at domino's. In short, avoid!
Overpriced for the quality of food & service they offer. They clearly couldn't handle a pre-booked group of 20 people. We waited nearly two hours just for the main course. I had to ask five times for my dessert, & by the time it arrived, I didn't even want it anymore. The only reason this place gets one star is for the drinks.
I usually always take pictures to post with my reviews, but this experience completely drained me, I didn't even feel like taking any. The temperature inside was uncomfortably hot, probably because of the wood-fired oven, & by the time I got home, I smelled like pizza.
After spending over $200 for two people, I expected much better service. Never going back.

La nourriture est délicieuse, nous avons goûté aux pizzas Ribeye & à la Quatre fromages. Les portions sont généreuses & les prix sont raisonnables. Le décor est magnifique & le personnel très gentil.
