Great place for cocktails, not much food options. We were a big group, still they handled everything pretty well, except for this one rude server. Overall a good experience.
Their selection of cocktails & fine whiskeys was fantastic as was the service! Eric chatted with us & gave us tour of the restaurant. We'll be back!

The moment you step inside, the towering bar wall-stacked with an almost overwhelming selection of spirits & beers-is a sight to behold. It's the kind of place where you know you're going to find something special, whether it's a rare craft beer, a perfectly executed cocktail, or a spirit you never knew you needed to try. It's one of those spots where you can spend an entire evening just exploring the different options.
However, while the drinks shine, the service can be slow, & uninterested. The food is decent but not the reason to visit; it feels more like an accompaniment rather than a highlight.
Visited on September 25, 2019, in the afternoon at the opening. Located on the highest point in downtown Sherbrooke, the entry however is located next to the parking lot via Alexandre St or Gillespie St. Last time I was in Sherbrooke was in 2010, that place was way off my radar, I'm not even sure if this was a good beer bar, well it is. A mix of pub & high class bar, not big by the looks of it but there are several section including a pool room, a second floor with a terrasse. About 30 beers on tap, more than 20 are rotating & for the most part quite interesting, I had the Bas-Canada Substance, it's a freaking vanilla chocolate cake with coconut. An impressive bottle menu, & they sometimes tap takeovers & rare bottle events, they even have a beer cellar. If your with someone who is not in to beer, this is a great cocktail bar, food wise however is quite limited. Great service, quite meticulous. A major beer destination in the Eastern Townships!
I have come to the King Hall many times & have always been pleased. They make the best vodka martinis ever. However, I do have to leave a comment on the menu options, we're in 2024 almost 2025, it shouldn't be so complicated to have just ONE vegan option on the menu by now. I also have to leave a comment about the cocktails the last time I went (last Wednesday evening), I decided to have a negroni & so did one of the guests I was with, very disappointed, both of us. We then decided on a margarita & were once more very disappointed, extremely sweet when we were told that there was only Cointreau & Triple Sec to sweeten the drinks. The server was nice but forgot to bring us water after he had offered & we asked. One of the guests asked for a straw & never got one either. It took at least 20-30 minutes before the server came to ask if we wanted anything to drink. I feel horrible leaving this kind of message but the price we pay for good quality mixology at King Hall may not be worth it anymore or it might have been just that one night.

Beau lieu, décor avec goût, lumière un peu trop tamisée. Personnel charmant, advenant. Cocktails bons. Nourriture: certains mets excelents, d'autres manquent de finesse, trop succrés. Agréable première expérience. Pas d'urgence de recommencer. J'aime plus manger que boire, pour boire, c'est une bonne adresse très agréable.
J'adore cet endroit! J'adore faire confiance aux spécialistes des cocktails pour des drinks spéciaux! La nourriture est très bonne. Belle découverte.. En plus il y a une table de babyfoot :p
La nourriture était bien meilleure avec l'ancien chef. C'est dommage. L'ambiance par contre est toujours aussi chouette, les cocktails sont délicieux & le service est agréable.
Très beau décor, ambiance & accueil chaleureux. Carte des vins & cocktails très complète & variée. Notre serveur a construit devant nous notre dessert Tiramitsu! Très original. Les plats sont merveilleux & délicieux. Belle découverte!

La nourriture était excellente,. Puisqu'une partie du plat est en sauce crémeuse, il aurait été mieux présenté dans une plus grande assiette pour mieux distinguer les différents éléments qui le composent. Le cocktail à base de scotch, de fruit de la passion & d'orange était extra. j'ai essayé de le reproduire sans succès à la maison. Quel dommage, s'était sublime.
Excellent service, belle connaissance des produits offert de la part des serveurs. Très belle carte variée pour les cocktails, vins, & autres. Délais plus que raisonnable entre les entrées & les plats principaux. La nourriture tellement délicieuse, je recommande sans hésiter!

Bon rapport qualité prix sur la nourriture. Notre plat de viande était assez gros pour être partagé à 2 ce que nous avons apprécié!
