The Keg Steakhouse + Bar opened the doors of its first restaurant in 1971 in Vancouver. Since then, The Keg has expanded across Canada and the US to include over 100 locations. Bring hearing protection. The food was good...not exceptional but just what you would expect. The service was fine although our waiter admitted we got neglected a bit for a time. I forgive him, it was busy. The noise level, however, was unbelievable. Shouting & I couldn't hear people at the other end of the table. I beg the owners to bring in anything to help absorb the sound. It was painful. & to top things off, a fight almost ensued in the ladies room. Not kidding, there were words exchanged & hair pulling. We have been going to the Keg since the time it was the keg n' cleaver in Vancouver. Moved to Montreal & were disappointed. the food arrived not very hot & cooled quickly. the 1st 3 steak knives were dull as butter knives, at these prices it's time to pony up for some new knivesView more
