One of the best South Indian cuisine restaurant in Canada, the taste feels like home , good portion size great presentation. There was a gentleman who gave me a great service, always with a smile. Highly recommend & would be surely coming back.

Had the most delicious shrimp curry at this place. Such a complex blend of flavors with just the right amount of heat. Wait time to order & wait for your food is very reasonable. Also, the staff are so kind & attentive. Would definitely recommend this place as your next casual Indian meal! Edit: I forgot to mention that everything on their menu is very well labelled for most major food restrictions. I have celiac & it was so clear which items on the menu were gluten free, which is so appreciated!!

We came as a group of 15people with kids each ordered one item. Everything was super aa well as everyone was satisfied. Recommended to visit again at any time👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻
The food & services were amazing. Even though the restaurant was closing at 10 PM, we arrived with a group of 20 people at 9:30 PM. They were very accommodating, letting us all in & preparing our meals without rushing us out. The food was incredible, & everyone loved it. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic South Indian cuisine.
We visited Thanjai today with group of 5 families & the food was ultimate! We were traveling from Dallas & glad that we came across this restaurant. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for Indian food

We have ordered Veg kothu parotta & paneer butter masal from Thanjai. To be honest, one of the worst paneer butter masala ever had. It was just like a colour powder & sugar added in water & gave. Totally not worth the money & not recommandable. P.S - Veg kothu taste good, no complaints Updated based on the reply from the owner : This wasnt my first experience. Earlier when I visited ordered masala dosa & rava onion dosa. When it was delivered to table it was Rava masala dosa(P.S - Rava dosa delivered as Rava masala dosa). The actually problem is with the masala, it was stale.We informed the same but it was really suprising to hear the response that the chef didnt get the smell. But in the final bill the restaurant didnt charge for the rava dosa, if its really not the case then this deduction wont have happened. Some time things happen out of control but this restaurtant is not ready to accept it. We request to check the quality before its actually delivered to dine in/take out. We do see your restaurant has won awards, but all days the taste of the food is not same is our only concern. We have visited Thanjai thrice so far hoping each time we get better food but each time it was disappointing in one way or other.
Yogita gave us an amazing service her recommandations was so good & she was so kind We had the opportunity to test so many different flavours the food was so tasty thanks to the chef Everybody was so welcoming we will come back every weekend go this summer that for sure :-)
