Okay but honestly… TGG is one of my favorite spots in Montreal 😭

Their chai just hits different-so warm & full of flavor, not like the basic ones you get everywhere. & the dahi puri?? SO GOOD. Fresh, crunchy, perfectly balanced… I could literally eat it all the time.

I've tried a few things from their menu & everything has been really good so far. It just feels like proper desi street food, not fake or watered down.

If you're into Indian fast food, you HAVE to try this place!!

Had an amazing experience at TGG Restaurant in Montreal! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious & full of authentic flavors.
The Kaju Lasan with fresh, soft Rotli was rich, perfectly spiced, & tasted just like home. The Ahmedabad-style Vadapav was a highlight - truly authentic with that perfect balance of spice & flavor.
The Boondi Raita was fresh & creamy, pairing beautifully with the meal. The Masala Chaas was refreshing & well-seasoned - exactly what you want with a flavorful Gujarati meal.
& the Kesar Pista Shrikhand was the perfect sweet ending - smooth, fragrant, & not overly sweet.
The food quality, taste, & overall experience were excellent. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic Gujarati flavors in Montreal. Will definitely visit again!

100% vegetarian restaurant that caters to Jain & Swaminarayan diet.

Food was flavourful & tasted like a home cooked meal. We got poori & aloo, the vadapav & dabeli combo, the undhiyu, poori, & Aamras combo, & Pav Bhaji. Everything was yummy but the Aamras Poori combo was the best!!

Highly recommend for a great value warm & flavorful meal in Montreal! It's a small restaurant & not super fancy but service & food made up for everything else!

TGG stands for The Great Gujarat & this restaurant truly stands true for its name with service & food they provide.

Small but cozy place. Excellent & mouthwatering food. Cooked with perfect blend of spices & warmth. Truly loved the food. In 3 days we went there twice. Owner & staff is very courteous & friendly.

We ordered sev tomato, rotla, baingan bharta, srikhand, chat & paneer curry. All were delicious. Highly recommend for veg & authentic Gujrat food. This restaurant oc recently opened few years back but one of the great options. The Baigan Bharta had that deep, smoky flavor & overall food reminds of typical Gujrat flavor.

We ordered Kajun Lasan, Paneer Lababdar, Dal Tadka, Roti, & Masala Papad - every dish was full of authentic flavors & prepared perfectly. The taste was absolutely awesome, & each bite reminded me of true Indian home-style cooking with a touch of restaurant finesse.
The service was very good - attentive without being rushed - & what really stood out was the owner, who was extremely nice, welcoming, & helpful in making sure we had the best dining experience.
If you're looking for delicious Indian food in Montreal with warm hospitality, I'd highly recommend TGG. Definitely a place I'd love to visit again!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was bursting with authentic flavors - every bite felt like a trip to India. We ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, & vegetable biryani, & everything was perfectly cooked & beautifully presented. The spices were balanced, & the portions were generous.

The service was warm & attentive without being intrusive. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome & even gave some great recommendations. Service was truly exceptional - every detail was taken care of with a smile, & it made the entire dining experience feel extra special.

The ambiance was cozy & inviting, with soft music in the background that added to the atmosphere without overpowering conversation.

Had an amazing experience at TGG Indian Restaurant recently! We tried the Dahi Puri, Pani Puri, Chole Puri, & Dabeli - & honestly, everything was super fresh & delicious.

But I have to give a special shoutout to the Dabeli - I've been in Canada for 7 years & this was hands down the best Dabeli I've ever had here. It was perfectly spiced, full of flavor, & just hit all the right notes.

On top of that, the staff & the cook were incredibly warm & welcoming. You can really feel that they care about what they're serving & about making sure everyone has a great time.

Big thanks to the whole team for such a lovely experience. We'll definitely be back soon - & bringing friends along too!

Tried TGG Restaurant in Montreal recently, & it genuinely reminded me of home. The Baigan Bharta had that deep, smoky flavor you only get with proper roasting - felt just like a well-made dish from a dhaba. Paneer Lababdaar was rich, creamy, & full of flavor without being heavy.

The Ahmedabad Cheese Vada Pav really stood out - it had the same street-style taste you'd expect from Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad. Crispy vada, spicy chutney, & the cheese added a fun twist without being over the top.

With the heat that day, the Masala Chaas hit the spot - cool, spiced just right, & refreshing. Dal Tadka with Rice was simple but satisfying - no shortcuts, just that familiar, bold tadka flavor.

Ended with Kesar Pista Shrikhand, & honestly, it was one of the best I've had outside India - creamy, not overly sweet, & full of flavor.

Overall, the food tasted real - not toned down, not overly fancy. Just proper Indian food, the way it's meant to be. Would go back, especially if I'm craving those strong, familiar flavors.

Went here for dinner & tried the Ahmedabadi Vadapav, Samosa Chaat, & Pani Puri. The Ahmedabadi Vadapav, their signature item, was flavorful & packed a punch - crispy on the outside with a nicely spiced filling. It was a bit on the oily side, but still totally worth trying. The Pani Puri was amazing & super refreshing, & the Samosa Chaat was good too. Ambiance was okay, but the food made up for it. Great place for street food cravings!

We were exploring Montreal in search of good Indian chaat & stumbled upon this gem-by far the best Indian restaurant we visited during our 4-city trip! The Pav Bhaji was absolutely incredible-I ended up ordering it every time we came back. It's a must-try! My husband loved the Samosa Chaat, which was consistently delicious as well.

The roti was unbelievably soft-melt-in-your-mouth good-& gave us that comforting, homely feel. We also tried the Baingan Bharta with millet roti, & it was packed with authentic flavors.

If you're in Montreal & craving Indian food, this place is a must-visit. We'd give it 11/10 if we could!
