Love the dahi puri, chai & vada pav!
To be honest, any dish you try you will love it
Amazing food & amazing service! The Vada pav is a must try. Chef makes the food with such positive vibes.
Went twice back to back. One of the best gujarati food, & indian food in Canada.
Honestly even the utensils were extremely clean, which I haven't noticed in some of high end dining places.
We tried
Undhyu puri
Baingan bharti & bajra roti combo
Kaju lasoon sabzi
Ahmedabadi vada pav
All of which was 5/5. If you're in & around the area, this is an ABSOLUTE try.
We ordered all Gujarati food like undhyu, sev tameta, ras puri, rotli, pavbhaji etc… Everything was very delicious. The person who served the food was very nice, served with heart - his name is Hitesh bhai. Thank you for serving us with good food. Recommend highly.
Tried the undiyo with poori & aamras, it was good.
-- second visit
Their baigan bhartha combo is a must try !!
- First visit
They have a lot of tasty food items. I tried their Ahmedabad cheese vada pav & khaman - both were nice.
Vada pav was coated in butter & the vada had a spicy tinge to it.
Khaman were soft, good textured, slightly sweeter (first time i had raisins in dhokla)
The owner & staff are very nice & friendly.
The only drawback is limited space & seating.
Amazing experience at TGG Restaurant, Montreal! The food tastes absolutely authentic & fresh. Must try their Vada Pav (real Amdavadi taste), Dabeli, & nylon khaman - all were outstanding. One of the best places for great taste & vibes. Highly recommended!
I tried Ahmedabadi vada pav & pavbhaji was really good & authentic & incredible service from owne
100% vegetarian restaurant that caters to Jain & Swaminarayan diet.
Food was flavourful & tasted like a home cooked meal. We got poori & aloo, the vadapav & dabeli combo, the undhiyu, poori, & Aamras combo, & Pav Bhaji. Everything was yummy but the Aamras Poori combo was the best!!
Highly recommend for a great value warm & flavorful meal in Montreal! It's a small restaurant & not super fancy but service & food made up for everything else!
Absolutely loved it!
We visited TGG Restaurant in Montreal & tried the Cheese Butter Masala, Vada Pav, Dabeli, & Samosa Chaat - everything was sooo good! The flavors were authentic, fresh, & full of spice, just like back home. The portions were generous, & the presentation was great too. Definitely one of the best spots in Montreal for delicious Indian street-style food. Highly recommend!
Very good service by the people. Loved the methi thepla & roti, they were very thin & very soft. Pav bajji was also very good. Dining has only 4-5 tables. I definitely recommend to try here!!
Tried TGG Restaurant Catering recently. We gave order for Pavbhaji & Veg Pulav it was mind blowing taste was so good that all our guests loved the food & it was refreshly made with proper packing & all. Loved the taste & would recommend for catering services. Thank you!
Being a Gujarati you always crave for gujarati food , TGG you guys prove our own gujarati saying' Jya jya vase Gujarati tya tya sadakal gujarat' From Sev khamani to sev tamate to Shrikhand & Chaas & Vada Pav everything was so delicious & made with love. We visited this place last year but it is never late to post for good food.
We were craving some Indian food & found this spot in Montreal, & we were not disappointed. It's close to airport.
Service was great, & the atmosphere was very relaxing & enjoyable.
We ordered the Undhiyu, Poori, Mango Ras, Pani Puri, Lasaniya Kaju sabji, Pavbhaji, Puri & potatoes subji & in last Kaju Draksh ice cream. it was delicious! Portion sizes were also quite good. both me & my parents & also our friends are so happy with food.
I would highly recommend this place out! We your in Montreal trip & looking pure 100% vegetarian gujarati food.
Parking is available on street.
But over all experience is extraordinary. Can't express in words.
Ordered Ahmedabadi vada pav, paw bhaji, cholle bhature, & ice cream.
Everything was tasty. Loved pav bhaji the most.
Tried TGG Restaurant in Montreal recently, & it genuinely reminded me of home. The Baigan Bharta had that deep, smoky flavor you only get with proper roasting - felt just like a well-made dish from a dhaba. Paneer Lababdaar was rich, creamy, & full of flavor without being heavy.
The Ahmedabad Cheese Vada Pav really stood out - it had the same street-style taste you'd expect from Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad. Crispy vada, spicy chutney, & the cheese added a fun twist without being over the top.
With the heat that day, the Masala Chaas hit the spot - cool, spiced just right, & refreshing. Dal Tadka with Rice was simple but satisfying - no shortcuts, just that familiar, bold tadka flavor.
Ended with Kesar Pista Shrikhand, & honestly, it was one of the best I've had outside India - creamy, not overly sweet, & full of flavor.
Overall, the food tasted real - not toned down, not overly fancy. Just proper Indian food, the way it's meant to be. Would go back, especially if I'm craving those strong, familiar flavors.
We were exploring Montreal in search of good Indian chaat & stumbled upon this gem-by far the best Indian restaurant we visited during our 4-city trip! The Pav Bhaji was absolutely incredible-I ended up ordering it every time we came back. It's a must-try! My husband loved the Samosa Chaat, which was consistently delicious as well.
The roti was unbelievably soft-melt-in-your-mouth good-& gave us that comforting, homely feel. We also tried the Baingan Bharta with millet roti, & it was packed with authentic flavors.
If you're in Montreal & craving Indian food, this place is a must-visit. We'd give it 11/10 if we could!
It's a true gem for those seeking authentic Gujarati cuisine. Diners consistently praise the melt-in-your-mouth Ahmedabad Vadapav, the flavorful Undhiyu Sabji, & the perfectly spiced Vada Pav. The attentive service & welcoming ambiance further enhance the exceptional dining experience. One reviewer noted,'Incredible authentic Gujarati food! You won't find a better Ahmedabad Vadapav anywhere in the city.' Another shared,'Best Gujarati food I found over there, felt like home food. Great customer service, amazing food.' For a delightful taste of Gujarat in Montreal, TGG Indian Restaurant is a must-visit.
All the dishes had a great taste. Especially Pav-Bhaji & Baingan ka Bhartha.
