Overall amazing service, waiters check-in frequently. great music & rooftop atmosphere, well decorated bar. Definitely a top 3 terrace in Montreal. Food was slightly above average & drinks were well above average & well garnished. Definitely a must-try if in vieux port.
I celebrated my 27th Birthday here! Actually my girl made a reservation for this place & it was probably the best decision. It was a wonderful experience. Alexa was our server & she is amazing, very sweet, considerate & made my bday special. The drinks were super amazing & tasty. We found a bug in the drink which is not their fault but the server was kind enough to compensate for it. The food was really delicious, & filling. Coming to the VIEW, the view is the best you will get in Old Montreal. It was breathtaking. I will definitely come back here.
Took us three tries to get a table at the Main Patio at night time. Here's my honest opinion The Patio setting: Beautiful, good music, staff were attentive. The Food: I am sorry it is very disappointing. The beef tartare even with Truffle oil tasted plain. The fig salad was just okay. The drinks: Old Fashion was watery, not enough whisky nor simple syrup. La Vine Rose Sangria has no fruity flavor to it. The view: Yes you get a night view of the Ferry Wheel & the Circus tent, but again it looks better on picture than in real life. Overall, a patio that's hyped up by social media, if you can't get in, don't feel bad about it. If the restaurant happen to see this, you have great potential to be a real good one, please hire some good chef & revamp your menu, also, get some good bartender as well. You already charging close to premium price, why dont you make it better?
Magnifique terrasse au coeur du vieux port de Montréal. Les drinks sont superbes & les portions des plats est bonne pour le prix. Le jour le menu de nourriture est assez petit mais à partir de 16h, il y a beaucoup plus de choix. Le service était bon au début & par la suite c'était dur d'avoir l'attention de la serveuse par la suite..mais autrement c'était super !

Went for a late lunch in Canada Day as a party of 2. The queue system is easy & guest-friendly; we had time to get a coffee while we were waiting & our table was ready quickly. The wine list is short but very well curated, with some great references at good value. The food (duck shawarma dish & tuna steak salad) was of good quality & was served in a timely manner. The highlight of the visit was our server Alex. He's very knowledgeable with food & drink products, made really helpful suggestions, & was incredibly attentive in getting us what we needed & checking in to make sure it was to our liking. Even though he had a full section, he took the time to thoroughly explain menu options, with clarity & a great attitude. What a good example of how a team can work to make a dining experience memorable - thank you to Alex, Mehdi, & the whole William Grey team!
4 stars because their drinks are small, but everything was beautiful on the rooftop: life is beautiful, the people are beautiful, the drinks are beautiful. The food was good, not great, & again, the drinks were small.

Had the best time on our last night before heading back to chicago!! I believe the bartenders name was Dimitri & he was the best!! Drinks & service were great! Will be back the next time in Montreal!
We came to terrasse William with my family a week ago & had such a good experience! The hostesses Carla & Noa took such good care of us! They even gave us recommendations of things to do in Montreal! Our bartender Alex was also amazing! He made the best drinks ever! I highly recommend this terrasse!
So we had to wait for 1 hr & then we got the side patio where the view is not that good. The drinks were very average & nothing special. I think the place is over rated for the service & quality of food being served

Very nice place with good service & good food. 4 stars because orders are unreasonable for drinks at $21 for a small drink made mostly of ice. I was surprised to see the place had many empty spots on a long weekend with beautiful weather. I think if they would make the drinks more reasonable they would be jammed all the time
You pay for the view & the atmosphere! Drinks are made by an amateur, either too much or too little alcohol, & the steak was wrongly cooked! Friendly people & welcoming.
Awesome vibe, great atmosphere, even better view (of Montreal's Old City). My wife & I came here for lunch & we were happy with everything. We had their version of avocado toast with eggs, & pulled beef with poached eggs. Both were very tasty & the presentation was on point. If you are looking for a nice place for lunch/dinner/drinks in Montreal (with the best city view), you wont be dissapointed with this rooftop restaurant. P.S. NaimeZ was so nice, & took great care of us! She made the whole experience even better!
Came here for a quick drink before dinner as I saw it had beautiful views! The views did not disappoint! We sat at the bar & had a nice time. The drink however wasn’t much of a cocktail & more like a juice. I don’t know if it was because there was too much ice or if it was just not much alcohol in it. I would come back to try another thing & because the views were great!
Awesome rooftop patio in the heart of old town. Very fast seating & great drinks. They even offer a great selection of charcuterie. The view from the roof top gives an amazing view of old Montreal & old port. They offer drag shows on weekends too. A very hip & happening place
