5 stars all around here - this was one of the best restaurant experiences i've ever had. the food was delicious for all four of us. the 8oz steak in particular was one of the best i've ever had cooked to a perfect medium rare. the service was fast & exceptional! they were super friendly & great about keeping our waters full. we visited for a birthday & they knew from our intital reservation to bring a cake out without us even asking, free of charge. the rooftop terrace had amazing views, but bring a jacket because it got windy for us! not cheap, but reasonably priced for what it is. go visit!
We had a wonderful evening at Terrasse William Gray. The rooftop is beautiful, the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, & the food was excellent from start to finish. The rosé Champagne, cocktails & every dish we ordered were delicious & beautifully presented.
We had to wait a few minutes for our table, but the team immediately welcomed us with a complimentary drink - a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the entire evening.
A special thank you to Rosemonde, who took outstanding care of us throughout the night. She was warm, attentive, professional & made us feel genuinely welcome. Even when we had a small issue with our credit card payment, she handled everything calmly & found an easy solution.
Outstanding service, fantastic food, breathtaking views over Montréal & great attention to detail. We would definitely come back & highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.
We had such an amazing experience as guests of the hotel, & a huge part of that was because of Matteo.
We first met him at the rooftop bar on one of our first nights in Montreal. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, & made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. The following night, we happened to see him again at the downstairs cocktail bar, & to our surprise, he immediately remembered us. That small gesture made such a lasting impression-it made us feel genuinely welcomed & appreciated.
Matteo has a natural ability to connect with people. His service was attentive, personable, & professional, but never forced. He went above & beyond to make our evenings memorable, & his positive attitude truly elevated our entire stay.

We had an amazing brunch at Terrasse William Gray! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were great, & the atmosphere & views were beautiful. The staff was friendly, attentive, & made the experience even better. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great rooftop brunch spot!
Our server Dave was spectacular! Despite the systems being down, he delivered great service & explained our choices in detail so we knew what we were getting. Every course was divine & the rooftop atmosphere during sunset made our anniversary dinner extra special.
Everything about this restaurant is great! The rooftop is heated but well ventilated! The food is great & the mocktails were tasty! The only downside is that it does get really loud.
I was looking for a place to unwind after a long day, & choosing this rooftop turned out to be exactly what I needed.
The staff were incredibly kind & accommodating, which made the experience even better. They even offered me a blanket as it got cooler in the evening, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Service was attentive throughout, & the food was genuinely good. I will say the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, & the drinks are also a bit more expensive compared to other places & felt slightly smaller in portion. But despite that, we still had a really great time overall.
I made a reservation for 6:30 so we could catch the sunset, & it was absolutely worth it. They seem to manage seating in a way that gives everyone time to enjoy the space (around a two-hour window) which I actually appreciated.
They also helped celebrate my brother's birthday, which made the evening feel even more special!
A very nice place for a get together with colleagues, friends & family. We went while it was still warm outside & it was pleasant to have a drink, est & enjoy the rooftop view.
The service was excellent, our server was very efficient & attentive. It was unfortunate that you can only be there for a max of 2 hours, although our server did offer to see if it was possible to move us to a different table.
Everything we ordered was really good & I can recommend without hesitation as we will go back for sure.
