Great food, accompanied by great service & a Cozy atmosphere! Highly recommended

Anyone with money or inheriting a restaurant can have one, but having business sense, common sense & respect for your customers who are your bread+butter requires a different kind of savvy! Petty cash-grabs at every turn has been the downfall of a number of restaurants, because at already too-high prices, customers do not wish to be taken further advantage of! First, refusing to supply the always in-the-past pack of a few dry noodles for the soup, insisting on the purchase of a whole order instead, then when asked to supply a few cellopacs of hot mustard for the now smaller, ever more expensive eggrolls, being told that mustard will now cost me $1.50 & then charging $2 extra for delivery (on a $54+ order) WHICH WAS ALWAYS FREE - is just way too much gouging, disdain & disrespect!!! Their predecessors would cringe in shame! Their food may be good (not all of it, by any means), but enough is enough! I will opt for a bit less good (many other less-expensive choices of places) & better appreciation elsewhere, as I understand a number of other customers of theirs already have done.
Ordered from here via DoorDash & honestly this food made me sad. I hate to leave such a bad review but the sesame beef was dessert it was so sweet, the chicken chow mein was inedible & was missing noodles & I feel like I got totally ripped off. Never again.
I've been going for years (50+) This is where we'd go for my birthday. Egg rolls are still excellent. All the food was perfect. Although they dropped the almonds from the chicken & vegetables.
The BEST Chinese in MTL. Best chop suey wonton soup! The general tao & pineapple chicken are crazy good!
Riz frit aux légumes....aucun goût Légumes sautés....2 légumes en quantité Nouilles pâteuses Les quantités ont diminué & les prix en hausse Ils ont oublié les baguettes & les sauces d'accompagnement
Best egg roll in town, food is very tasty ! Employees are very nice, love the music (60s/70s). Orders are flexible
Since covid your prices, have gone way up. Not everyone lives, in cote st luc or Westmont. & the quality, gas gone way down. I miss Vanhorne, & Tiger so much.
This is the place to go if you want some good Montréal chinese food. Recommend the general tao & the spare rib sauce is to die for. Plus the young man working the front is pretty cute....tarique I think? ;)
