As a Brazilian I went for the soccer game , so the place was packed but the girl at the counter was rude, no smiles( & I speak portuguese)..when you work with the public I think it's a must; the pao de queijo was delicious, the best I had in Mtl. The tapioca fries were soggy ...
& the girl at the counter rudely telling me that I have to tip them when I have to wait & get my order at the counter myself! 🤔
I'll definitly try their 2nd restaurant
As Brazilians living in Montreal, we're always excited to find places that remind us of home, & Tapi Go! has quickly become one of our favorites.
Their pao de queijo is absolutely delicious-crispy on the outside, soft & cheesy on the inside, just the way it should be! They offer several different fillings, making it a great place whether you're looking for a quick snack, breakfast, or lunch.
We also highly recommend trying their smoothies, which are fresh, flavorful, & pair perfectly with the pao de queijo.
The café is cozy, with a few tables inside & a small patio available during the summer, making it a lovely place to enjoy authentic Brazilian flavours in the heart of Plateau-Mont-Royal. The staff is always friendly & welcoming. Since it's a small café, seating is limited, so it's perfect for a quick breakfast, snack, or light lunch.
If you've never tried pao de queijo before, this is definitely the place to start. We totally recommend.
Not a taco, not a crepe... it's a Brazilian tapioca! This is incredible parmesan-crusted tapioca sandwich loaded with pulled beef, cheddar, & bold flavors. Side note: you cannot leave without trying their authentic Pao de Queijo & that vibrant homemade mango & passion fruit juice. Fresh, tropical, & SO crave-worthy! #TapiGo! #Montreal
Soy Mexicana y me sorprendió el sabor de todo, Ame el pao de queijo y la tapioca de carne. Estaban muy rico! 100% recomendable.
The combo is perfect! Pao de queijo & tapioca taste the same as I used to eat in Brazil. It's definitely worth it. I'll be coming back for sure.
Best'tapiocas' in Canada (that's a typical Brazilian gluten-free tortilla made of cassava), you should try. My wife loves their'pao de queijo' (typical Brazilian cheese-filled bread). & their açaí also is delicious & perfect in summer in their outdoor area on the sidewalk.
