Offering a refreshing, contemporary, and all-vegan Japanese cuisine, Sushi Momo is a sophisticated twist from traditional Japanese sushi. With 10 years of experience, chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre opened Sushi Momo in December 2014, and has been getting much praise from day one. Christian's creations are both enjoyable and extremely creative. Christian wanted to give Montrealers the most options for vegan sushi in the entire city.

I didn't have a reservation. I had the choice between a table or the bar. I chose a table but had to finish within half an hour. Because the table was reserved. Maybe I would have more time to enjoy my meal if I chose to sit at the bar... They have a new kind of rolls that's filled with lettuce instead of rice. For a fresh & light meal. Love the Krispy Rice. The garnishing are piled high, don't know how to eat that without making a mess. :P There's a mocktail called Promenade en Provence. One of the best restaurants in Montreal, I've been coming to this place since 2019. This vegetarian spot offers flavors that are rich & abundant. The dishes don't try to mimic meat, instead they stand out with subtle, sophisticated tastes that deliver a true symphony for your palate. François is genuinely kind & attentive! Life changing sushi -- there is no other way to describe it. I've had several vegan sushi places that were fantastic but none were as inventive, as delicious, & as well put together as this. Especially the Sakura, the broccoli just ties everything's together with the build & sauce. Beyond this, the staff was insanely professional & helpful describing each sushi to detail. My friend dropped a chopstick & a nearby server replaced it in less than 10 seconds. Even if you eat meat, I think you'll have an unreal experience at this place. Highly highly, recommend!View more

Il est possible de faire d'excellent sushi vegan tout en gardant la nature du sushi. Ce que le chef propose est bien loin des sushi. Patate douce, pesto & tomate seché? Tofu & sauce au cumin ? J'ai fini par tout jeter aux poubelles. Rien n'allait ensemble. & il faut arrêter de mettre de l'huile de truffe dans tout. C'était inmangeable.View more
