Been here three times now & every time I'm absolutely blown away with this place. The food is indescribably immaculate. & the service. MY GOD. ASK FOR WILSON. That dude makes the entire experience somehow even better. Could not recommend this place enough to any sushi lover.
I'm not usually easily impressed with sushi place, however this completely exceeded my expectations. Absolutely incredible experience. Food was tasty & intricate. Love Wagyu Maki & 6pcs chef selection Nigiri. The interior decor & the ambience are wonderful. Highly recommended this place.

Le service était impeccable, & que dire de la nourriture… absolument délicieuse, des saveurs raffinées & une présentation soignée.

We were in line for another sushi restaurant but didnt notice that it was AYCE lol we were into the convo - our bad Then we found Sushi Hidden Fish & decided to dine in. The restaurant is soo cozy & staff was nice too. We ordered the dishes like the pictures & they were amazing. Highly Recommend !
Magnifique expérience culinaire ce soir. Le restaurant n'était pas très achalandé (mercredi soir de janvier, compréhensible). Bonne combinaison de saveurs, poissons frais & plats magnifiquement présentés. Oui, c'est dispendieux, mais ça en vaut la peine. Vraiment. Je recommande sans hésiter.
Tout de cette expérience fut des plus impeccables & délectables! Les poissons sont frais, les saveurs y sont, la beauté des plats, notre serveur très éduqué sur la fine cuisine japonaise a su nous insuffler sa connaissance, une expérience que je vous recommande incontestablement.

We had an incredible experience at Sushi Hidden Fish! The service was outstanding, earning a solid 5 stars, & the sushi quality is among the best we've encountered. After dining here, we visited Ryu & Yama, but they simply cannot compete with the premium quality offered at Hidden Fish. The manager was attentive & ensured we felt valued throughout our meal. While it's on the pricier side, every bite is worth it for sushi lovers seeking an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended!
This was the greatest sushi experience of my life. The staff helped me choose according to my tastes & I was not disappointed. The quality of the food is premium & the preparation is unbelievable. Me & my son truly enjoyed our experience. Would recommend to anyone.
Overall good food but personal bad experience. If you organize an event, be very clear with the staff & ask for validation of what is discussed at the end of the call. Also do not listen to the recommendations if you book for many people, do your math before agreeing. In our case we are a lot & it was hard to hit the $/per recommended. Food is good & our waiter was very friendly & fun.

J'ai eu le plaisir de dîner au restaurant Hidden Fish à Montréal, & l'expérience a été tout simplement exceptionnelle. Les poissons sont d'une fraîcheur incroyable, cuisinés avec un savoir-faire remarquable qui met en valeur leur texture onctueuse & leur goût délicat. Chaque plat est une véritable oeuvre d'art, avec une présentation soignée & des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées. Le service est impeccable & l'atmosphère intime du restaurant ajoute à l'expérience globale. Un incontournable pour les amateurs de cuisine de qualité. Je recommande vivement !
It was a perfect night-flavorful, top-notch service, & a great vibe. We went with the chef choice & had no regrets. Our waiter kindly explained all the fish. It was a fun experience to taste all the different types of nigiri. The dessert was incredible as well. Not too sweet, just enough. Highly recommend it, especially for special occasions.
I had just come back from Tokyo, so I was really excited to try this because reviews said it reminded them of Japan. Again NO, it was pretty but the fish tasted old; like blood it was not good. Not sure if that's just how it goes in Canada but it wasn't good. I don't recommend & idk if I can ever trust any sushi in Canada again

In general, if you want to try real Japanese cuisine in Montreal, I highly recommend Sushi Hidden Fish. Just book a table in advance, otherwise there may not be any seats. Sad to make this review. It was our wedding anniversary (as I mentioned on my reservation).When we arrived, we asked the host if we could have a special table due to our celebration (maybe something more private), she was very kind, but she told us it wasn't possible. We were sat next to a group of 5 people, & host came to told us that the manager would give us a dessert as a compensation. The food was good. At the end, when we finished, we thought we were going to receive our dessert, but instead we received the bill. Maybe it was my fault, because I didn't say anything, but I felt bad to have to ask for something free. The place is good if you wanna have fun with friends, but for a celebration like a wedding anniversary, & if you are looking for something romantic & private, I wouldn't recommend it.
